A Maiden to Appreciate

"Come on Pikachu! Let's go get that purse!" Ash exclaimed.
"Pika Pika!" Pikachu replied with enthusiasm.
Ash and Pikachu ran to the criminal. But first talked to the lady.
"Ma'am. We're gonna get that purse for you!" Ash said confidently.
"Be careful! Team Skull is a bad group!" the lady warned.
'Team Skull?' Ash thought. 'Is that like Team Rocket?'
Ash laughed. 'Well if they're as stupid as Team Rocket, this should be a breeze'
Ash then caught up with the Team Skull member and confronted him.
"Hey give up that purse" Ash said. "It's obviously not yours."
"Oh no! It's some 10 year old boy threatening me to give back a purse! I'm so scared." The grunt said sarcastically. "Come and get it." He got out his Pokeball.
Ash put a brave look on his face. " Woo! A battle! Pikachu, time for some action!"
"Pikaaaa" Pikachu said while forming static on his cheeks.
"Okay. That's how you want to play?" the grunt said. "Alright then, Salandit go!"
A lizard like Pokemon came out of the Pokeball.
"Huh. Never seen that Pokemon before..." Ash said while checking his Pokedex he got from Kalos.
"No data found" the outdated Pokedex said.
"Huh" Ash wondered. He put his Pokedex back in his pocket. "Whatever, Pikachu use Thunderbolt!"
Pikachu let out a bolt of lightning and landed a direct hit on Salandit. Although, Salandit was still standing.
"Is that all you've got?, Salandit use Poison Tail then Flamethrower!" The grunt commanded.
From the back of Salandit's tail, purple toxic rained on Pikachu poisoni. Then flamethrower struck leaving Pikachu severely damaged.
'Uh oh. Things are looking tight.' Ash got out another Pokeball. 'Better send out Gible,' Ash thought.
"Wait!" a man from the crowd shout out. "Take this!"
He threw a ring with a yellow crystal in it.
"Wait, what the heck is this?!" Ash cried out.
"Just put it on your wrist and preform what I do!"
