Jade ran through the woods as she tried to make some distance between her and Snow. She had told Snow that she was going to do some business which wasn't a lie, but if she had to be honest this business wasn't with the most kindest person that ever existed. If Jade had to narrow it down to one specific person, it would be the person everyone would least suspect.
As the Stiltskin child ran through the forest which soon lead to a small village and there, outside of one of the houses was the Queen's carriage. She released a sigh before walking into the house, despite a few knights giving her glare, she shrugged them off. As she walked into the house, her normal navy blue cape turned black.
"Seriously? What's with you and the colour black?" Jade asked with a sigh, "you know I prefer navy."
"Ah, I was wondering how long it would take you to get here and anyway, you know the rules; anytime you do a little job with me, you're cape has to be black in return I give you enough riches for a month." Regina spoke as she turned to face the masked woman.
"But you know how I feel about this. You know that I help the person you want to kill, so why me?" Jade asked.
"Because, I know you won't fail me." Regina responded with a small smirk. Jade released a sigh, though she hated doing these jobs for the Queen, she had to do it for the money, she had to collect enough in hopes to make a trade.
She looked around the house which looked as if it belonged to no one, though it did slightly remind her of her childhood house; this house was dirty and with straw over the ground, her childhood house was similar due to the straw but as for the rest of it, it was cleaner.
What brought the Stiltskin out of her thoughts was the door opening and closing revealing the Hatter.
"I'd like to say you're looking well, Jefferson, but I'd be lying. Poverty doesn't suit you." The Queen stated.
"What are you doing here, Regina? And who's she?" Jefferson asked as he looked towards the masked woman.
"This is Jade and I have a job for you." Regina told him.
"I don't do that anymore." Jefferson said to the royal.
"Yes, I heard you hung up your hat." Regina stated, "Why? Is it because of your sweet daughter Grace?"
