Back in seventh and eighth grade, nagkaroon ng maiksing stint si Makki bilang isang pseudo-vigilante.

Hindi naman sa nagbubuhat sya ng sariling bangko, but during those days, pakiramdam ni Makki ay sya si Spiderman—mas gwapo and definitely a sexier version of Spiderman.

And sure, his constant stepping up to break up alley fights a few years ago was a concern for both his parents pero wala namang magagawa ang mga ito kundi ang i-ground sya (which they didn't do).  Ang tanging bagay na pinagsisisihan lang nya nung mga panahong iyon ay ang pag-aalala ng kanyang best friend na si Anya.

But as soon as Makki entered High School at Montello High with his two best friends, nabaling na ang atensyon nya sa pagtulong kina Van at Ethan na patakbuhin ang maliit na grupong binuo nila sa school—ang Black Government. The excitement of being one of Black Government's pioneering member made up for his old pseudo-vigilante rush.

Bukod pa dun, mas safe ang Black Government ng 5% kumpara sa pambubugbog ng mga kriminal sa kalye. Which made Anya happy. (Or maybe Anya was happy because Makki told her that Black Government was a student council kind of work? Oh, well).

Pero recently, may mga pangyayari sa loob ng Montello High that made him want to become Spiderman again. And it was not his ego speaking. Mayroong hindi magandang nangyayari sa loob ng Montello High. At first, it sounded strange dahil ang sabi ng management ay may mga bisita lamang ang school. But now, Makki was suspicious, lalo na at kagabi ay nalaman nya ang buong kwento.

People were putting Montello High students in trouble. Bad guys. Villains. At nagdesisyon na si Makki na oras na para mag-step up muli. First, he had to call in reinforcements. Good thing that his bestfriend, Van Freniere (bad-ass that he was like Makki), was back. Kanina lang ay isang mensahero ang nagdala ng balita kay Makki that Van was inside the school and he would be heading to the cafeteria for breakfast. Ibig sabihin ay nagtagumpay ang plano ni Transfer Student, Summer Leondale, na i-kidnap ang kanyang bestfriend at ibalik muli sa loob ng Montello High. Now, Makki just had to meet Van so they could plan their next move. Which means he had to leave the comfort of his dorm room.

Naisip na rin nyang sunduin si Ethan Montreal—his other bestfriend—on the way there. Bilang Vice President ng Student Council si Ethan, mas malaki ang tyansa na agad-agad nilang mareresolba ang kung anumang nangyayari sa Montello High sa tulong nito.

Pero hindi pa man nya natatapos suotin ang kanyang T-shirt ay mayroon nang kumakatok sa kanyang dorm room.

"Come in!" Tawag nya at dali-daling nagpalit ng pants. Katatapos lang nyang isara ang kanyang zipper nang bumukas ang pinto at pumasok si Ethan.
