one of her friends scoffed at my response, she looked me up and down like i was shit on her shoe, scowled and carried on speaking.
"it's better if you don't know them, they're weird. they pray to the devil."
cara laughed uncomfortably and said "tammy, we don't want to scare him off now do we? he only just got here!"
