The day after...
Richard came earlier than usual with fresh flowers in one hand and box of chocolates in the other. He was all smiles as he greeted Jerald and Mang Wally and the two went on asking if they were already in a relationship. Richard did not confirm or deny it. Instead, he gave them a smile that reached his eyes as his thoughts went back to what happened last night. They continued their bantering but Richard was firm in not confirming or denying anything about Dei. He thought that he should wait for Dei so they could announce it to Jerald and Mang Wally together. Once they already fixed the chairs and tables for opening, he waited for Dei outside the door with both the flowers and chocolates behind his back. As soon as Dei saw him in the front door of the store, she walked briskly to get to him.
