"She is a flower, but she isn't soft; when she petals fall, they hit like bullets."- (i.m)

"What do you mean I have to die?" Christian asked.

"You have to be turned into a vampire," Sebastian said dryly. I didn't think this was possible. A few days ago I was turned into a vampire and now I'm in a castle in Romania with someone I just met.

"I don't even know you and now you're telling me that I'm some sort of royal vampire that will win some sort of war with witches?" Christian raised his voice. "I saw you kill Elora. I am not helping you," he said with daggers in his eyes. He's always been an angry one. Sebastian turned to me and smirked.

"Well, I can make Elora walk in the daylight so if you want my help, then you need to help us." he said angrily.

Just then, two figures walked into the room. One was an older woman who I guessed was Christian's real mother. She had the same black hair and she was wearing a beautiful gown that flowed down to her ankles. It was a long sleeve blood red dress that had diamonds on the chest and her hair was held by a crown that fit her perfectly. The other woman, on the other hand, was unique.

She looked exactly like the rest of the family except for her eyes. They were the color of purple that made me shiver. Her eyes glowed in the darkness of the night. To say that I felt like an outcast with how red my hair was and how I was dressed was an understatement.

"Christian. My son, you're finally here." the older woman said. She definitely spoke like she was a Queen. She put her arms around him like they have known each other for a long time. Chrisitan let go of her grasp and looked at her with a confused gaze.

"I'm sorry but do I know you?" he questioned. Not even a week and our lives have changed forever. From finding out that there is a whole another world full of supernatural beings and me getting turned into one of them, Christian and I had no idea what we got ourselves into.

"Of course you do. I'm Queen Audrey and you are my son," she said. He sat down in a chair and put his hands down to his knees. And I thought I had it hard with this new realization of the supernatural.

"Can I get a moment alone to process this?" he asked. All three of them nodded their head and walked out the door.

"Take your time, baby brother," Sebastian said as he was the last one to walk out of the room. Every time he spoke, it made my mind and heart turn to mush. I may not remember what he did to me when we first met, but I do know is that he is someone that has darkness in him. Darkness I have never seen before. By the way his tanned skin seems to reflect his beautiful brown hair to the way he wore a suit so perfectly.

I sat down on a chair next to Christian. We sat there for what felt like the longest time drowning in our thoughts. I could tell that he and I were the same. From being a quiet girl that nobody talks to, I seem to notice a lot of things about what others do. Like how some people react to different things and how they act around others. It always entranced how Christian could get caught up in his own thoughts, just like I do. It was one of the many things we had in common. I put my hand on his shoulder to make sure he wasn't alone in this.

"Are you okay?" I asked sympathetically. I knew what he was going through.

"No, I'm not okay! Days ago I was just a regular guy and now I just found out that I am a Vampire Prince. What the fucking hell!" Christian said hysterically. I sat back on the chair and stared at nothing but the darkness of the night. The castle had no light except for a few candles on the wall.
