"I mean, they say you die twice. One time when you stop breathing and a second time, a bit later on, when somebody says your name for the last time." - Banksy

I am going to fight, with every fiber of my being, I will fight for my family, for Sebastian, for Ellie, for Christian, for my brother, for the whole vampire kingdom. The witch ran toward me at full speed and I swung the weapon out of his hand and I used my sword to slice off his head. The head rolled off the body and it surprised me how easy it was for me to do that. The body fell down in a second and I couldn't but stare at the lifeless body before me. I often wondered when this became my life but this moment made me more confused than ever.

I lived a fairly normal life who went to school every day and got good grades and I had Jackson as my only friend. It was as ordinary as any human life could be. But it all changed when I was no longer human. I turned into a vampire and that's why I'm here right now standing over a witches body that I killed.

I snapped out of my thoughts when my brother finally spoke. "Wow you really are my badass sister." he exclaimed while he was behind me. I glanced over at him and I gave him a small smile.

I felt someone coming toward me from behind and I turned around quickly with the sword in one hand. I furrowed my brows together and closed my eyes for a moment to try to take a breath before I have to do something that I don't want to do. I opened my eyes and I saw the world around me in slow motion as I used my vampire speed to dart toward him. I stopped as I was now standing behind the witch and I snapped his neck like a twig.

The body dropped to the ground suddenly and I looked around me to see who wants to fight me next, but there was no one. The wolves around me didn't need any help at all ripping their heads off and the soldiers were busy fighting other witches. I was left standing side by side with Jasper in the pouring rain while I could feel my boots sticking to the muddy ground.

We were silent for a moment before he spoke to me again as all I could hear around me was the screaming of the witches dying and the clashing between the weapons, which made my ears start to ring from the sound. "Go help the others, I'll be fine." he urged.

I turned toward him and I clenched my eyebrows together in a frown. "No, I'm not leaving you out of my sight. No one is going to take away another member of my family." I admitted.

"And they aren't, Elora." he explained while I noticed that he looked down at his hands. Jasper started to form energy out of his hands and I watched as it got larger to the point that it was no longer the size of his fists.

I smiled back at him as I nodded my head. "I guess you got this." I replied while I felt someone charging in my direction. I raised my weapon in the air and I waited for them to get enough distance from me so I could stab them in the stomach. They were about to hit me with their weapon but in a split second, the blade that I was holding went into his chest and he dropped to the ground.

I looked over to Jasper and I saw that his head was tilted as he just witnessed me kill a man without any struggle. "You be careful, little brother." I told him while I lowered my sword as it was getting tough to hold.  I saw as he nodded his head without saying anything. I looked around me to try and find the others who might need my help and that's when I saw Ellie having trouble fighting one.

I ran toward her with all my speed while the witch was holding her down with both arms so she couldn't defend herself. I tried to hold the anger that was forming in my stomach again as I watched the witch about to stab her in the heart. But I was not about to let that happen. Ellie was the one that has been with me when I got turned and if she dies I don't know what I will do.
