hazel- i know youre good but i just cant imagine you on the team with them cocky football players

ray- (taps hazel) can i have a pencil

hazel- (gives him a pencil)

hazel- maybe because you never come to class

ray- (laughs) thats true

teacher- ray be quiet

ray- (rolls his eyes and leans closer to hazel) so you single

*Bell Rings*

ray- (gets up) i'll see you tomorrow beautiful and im keeping this pencil (leaves)

hazel- (smiles)

hazel- (walks in the house) mom im hom!!

Hazel Mom(hm)- shut the fuck up im watching tv

ej- i made the team

hazel- (hugs him) i knew you was going to

ej- you going to come to my games

hazel- i'll try and come to all of your games

hazel- (keeps walking)

ray- (throws his pencil at her)

hazel- (stops and touches her head) ow

hazel- I have to go to class now

ej- hazel (waves his hand in her face)

ej- I said I can come to your house today

hazel- ok

hazel- uh (looks and reads the poster on the wall) homecoming

ej- you thinking about homecoming

hazel- I guess I mean it's coming up

hazel- probably not I have nobody to go with

ej- you could go with me (winks at her)

hazel- (laughs) really

ej- yeah it would be fun to take you my best friend

hazel- (smiles) ok I'll go with you

*Hazel's House*

hazel- (laughs) stop copying my answers

ej- well you get all the right answers and I need to have good grades

hazel- whatever it won't help you learn

ej- I guess we'll just have to have study dates (lays his head on her)

hazel- (pushes his head) study by yourself

hm- (walks in the house) hazel!

hazel- (stands up) shit she's her early (looks at ej) you have to go now

hazel POV

she's drunk

hm- hmmmm... guess who I seen when I went to the bar today

hazel- who

hm- your dad and he asked about you want to know what he said

hazel- yeah

hm- (laughs)

hazel- what he say

hm- I'm kidding he didn't ask about you he doesn't give a shit about you nobody does

hazel- (starts tearing up)

hm- (walks out her room) now get your dumb friend out my house

ej- (puts his arm around hazel) hazel I'm-

hazel- (sniffs) ej you should go I'll see you tomorrow I'm fine

man I hate her mom for the way she treats hazel

ej- ok (hugs her and climbs out the window)
