Christine's POV
"Christine Daae could sing it sir." I hear Meg say from behind me. I immediately freeze, I have only sang to my self and my teacher never to a group or the managers of the opera house!
"The chorus girl ?" Firmin says skeptically.
"She's been taking lessons from a great teacher" Meg speaks again "From whom ?"
I sudden don't know how to respond. Only Madam Giry and Meg knew of me taking lessons, and I have never meet my teacher. I always assumed it was my father sending me the angel of music like he promised when I was a child.
"I don't know, sir . . ." I say Uneasily
"Oh, not you as well!
Can you believe it? A full house - and we have to cancel !" Andre says in a disappointing tone.
"Let her sing for you, monsieur. She has been well taught." I hear Madam Giry speak again
"From the beginning of the aria then, mam'selle."

I was frightened I had only heard the song and practiced it a few times with my teacher, but I never expected to be singing it for an audition.
"Think of me
think of me fondly,
when we've said goodbye."
Remember me
once in a while -
please promise me
you'll try."
I suddenly sense my angel watching me and I feel more relaxed.
"When you find
that, once
again, you long
to take your heart back
and be free -
if you
ever find
a moment,
spare a thought
for me."
Before I knew it I was onstage that very night in the lead role sing Think of Me.
"We never said
our love
was evergreen,
or as unchanging
as the sea -
but if
you can still
remember
stop and think
of me . . .

Think of all the things
we've shared and seen -
don't think about the things
which might have been . . .

Think of me,
think of me waking,
silent and
resigned.

Imagine me,
trying too hard
to put you
from my mind.

Recall those days
look back
on all those times,
think of the things
we'll never do -
there will
never be
a day, when
I won't think
of you . ."

Gleb's POV
As I watch the performance I see that it is Christine Daae on stage. Christine and I were childhood sweethearts in Russia before her father passed away. After her father died me and Christine lost Contact when she moved to Paris and now she's a rising star at the famous Opera House and I just brought the Opera House.
"Can it be?
Can it be Christine?
Bravo!
Long ago
It seems so
Long ago
How young and
Innocent you were...
She may
not remember
me, but
I remember
her..."

Christine's POV
"We never said
our love
was evergreen,
or as unchanging
as the sea -
but please
promise me,
that sometimes
you will think
of me!"
After I finished the song I feel as though something in side of me has just been set free. I have always loved singing especially for my teacher. Now I can tell he will be pleased.

As I walk into my dressing room I am hoping my angel will be pleased with my singing.

"Bravi, bravi, bravissimi ."
I here my angel speak proudly.

"Where in the world
have you been hiding?
Really, you were
perfect!"

I turn to see Meg standing beside my door

"I only wish
I knew your secret!
Who is this new
tutor?"

I knew I shouldn't tell her but I know she will not like it if I keep secrets from her.

"Father once spoke
of an angel . . .
I used to dream he'd
appear . . .
Now as I sing,
I can sense him . . .
And I know
he's here . . .
Here in this room
he calls me softly . . .
somewhere inside . . .
hiding . . .
Somehow I know
he's always with me . . .
he - the unseen
genius . . ."

As I told her I knew she wouldn't understand. No one but Madam Giry did.

"Christine, you must have
been dreaming . . .
stories like this can't
come true . . .
Christine, you're talking
in riddles . . .
and it's not
like you . . ."

"Angel of Music!
Guide
and guardian!
Grant to me your
glory!
Angel of Music!
Hide no longer!
Secret and strange
angel . . ."

"He's with me, even now . . ."
I say sensing my angel is near me

"Your hands are cold . . .

"All around me . . ."

"Your face, Christine,
it's white . . ."

"It frightens me . . ."

"Don't be frightened . . ."
Me and Meg both hear Madam Giry's cane hit the ground and we both jump at the sound.
She tells meg to leave and practice then hands me a note saying "little lotte"

"Christine Daae, where is your red scarf?"
I hear from behind me
"Monsieur?"
"You can't have lost it. After all the trouble I took. I was just fourteen and soaked to the skin . . ."
I suddenly knew immediately who it was.
"Because you had run into the river to fetch my scarf. Oh, Gleb. So it is you!"
I turn and see my childhood sweetheart Gleb Vaganov standing behind me with at music box in his hand.
"Ah Christine."
"Gleb I cant believe your here! I didn't think you wanted to leave Russia."
"Well I decided that music comes from all over the world and i need to hear it."
He said handing me the music box in his hands.
"What's this?"
"A little gift for the new opera star."
As I opened the music box I see a little statue of me and my father dancing. This music box was just like the one my father gave me as a child.
"How did you get this?"
"After you moved away I visited your old house and found your music box. I have had it with me ever since."
" O Gleb." I said standing and giving him a hug.
"Gleb do you remember father talking about the angel of music?" I asked sitting back at my dresser admiring the music box.
"Of coarse he told many stories to me and you about it."
"Father said, "When I'm in heaven, child, I will send the Angel of Music to you". Well, father is dead, Gleb, and I have been visited by the Angel of Music."

"No doubt of it. And now we'll go to supper!"

"No,Gleb, the Angel of Music is very strict."

"I shan't keep you up late!"

"No, Gleb wait . . ."

"You must change. I must get my hat. Two minutes Little Lotte."
Gleb said leaving Christine's dressing room.

"Gleb!"
"Things have changed, Gleb."
