Christine screamed at the Phantom terrified what he would do next. Christine was in a white wedding gown that the Phantom forced her to wear.

"That fate which condemns me to wallow in blood Has also denied me the joys of the flesh

A mask, my first unfeeling scrap of clothing"

The Phantom comes behind Gleb and ties a rope around his neck.

"Angel of Music! you deceived me!

Christine looks at Gleb wanting and begging him to live. She loves Gleb and doesn't want him to be harmed. Gleb knows what she needs to do, he knows her plan."

"Pitiful creature of darkness
What kind of life have you known?
God give me courage to show you
You are not alone"

Christine turned the Phantom to face her then kissed him as loving as she could. The Phantom was shocked by what she just did. Christine the pulls away and hugs him. The Phantom is still confused and his arms are to the side of Christine. Christine slowly raises her head from his shoulder and puts his arms on her waist the kisses him again. The Phantom slowly pushes her away know that she could never love him.

The Phantom slowly makes his way over to Gleb. He takes one last look at Christine then cuts the rope holding Gleb. Christine runs to Gleb hugging him and kissing him.

"Take her, forget me, forget all of this...
Leave me alone
Forget all you've seen...
Go now, don't let them find you!
Take the boat, swear to me, never to tell
The secret you know, of the Angel in hell"

"Go now! Go now, and leave me!"

Phantom listens to the musical box with the monkey and cymbals.

"Masquerade
Paper faces on parade
Masquerade
Hide your face, so the world will never find you"

Christine walks over to him.

"Christine, I love you..."

Christine removes his ring and places it in his hand as she leaves.

"I love you!"
The Phantom says one last time to Christine.

"Say you'll share with me
One love, one lifetime
Say the word and I will follow you
Share each day with me
Each night, each morning..."
Christine sings to Gleb as they leave the Phantoms dreaded lair.

"You alone can make my song take flight—
It's over now, the music of the night!"
Christine hears him sing as they make their way out of the opera house and to Gleb's house.
