"..." The genin surveyed each other, and their newly declared opponents (except for Shikamaru, Neji, Shino, and Gaara, who had no idea who their opponents were, but could make an educated guess).

"Get ready folx, because we're starting off with a classic case of sibling versus sibling!" Naruto announced into the microphone, in his special announcer voice. Off to the side, the Third could be seen nursing a headache while Hayate tried to comfort him with an assortment of lattes. It seemed he'd given up on trying to control Naruto. "Kankuro! Temari! Step forward! Face your enemy like a man!"
Temari sneered, "no."
"Whadaya mean, no?" Naruto asked, deeply offended by her lack of respect.
"Yeah, what do you mean no?" Kankuro added (out of some desperate need to get a word in lest his pride shrivel up like the fragile grape that it is).
Temari made a face and stuck her tongue out, "you said face your enemy like a man. That's gunna be a little hard considering I'm wearing a skirt."
"Men can wear skirts! Don't be such a stickler to tradition!" Naruto turned to face the brooding Uchiha in the corner, who had resigned to ignore this whole mess as long as he was able, "Sasuke! Prove my point! Go put on a skirt!"
"What," he choked, "n-no way! Absolutely no way!"
"Don't be such a pussy!"
He stuttered, "I-I'm not—"
"Then prove it," Naruto sneered, "c'mon, c'mon! Are you or aren't you?"
"Ch-che! Fuck you!" Sasuke said, storming off.
"I-is he," Sakura began, "is he actually going to—"
"Hush, you pink nugget: you might discourage him."
Sakura just stuttered; her teammates never ceased to find new ways to stun her.
"Now, back to the match—are you all ready?"
"Hmpth," Temari scoffed, "as ready as I'll ever be."
"Yeah—me, too." Kankuro said.
"Alright," Naruto shouted, going back into his announcer voice, "let's get this motherfucking party started!"
He held his hand out in front of him and started counting, "one...two..."
Suddenly he swung his hand down violently and shouted, "three! Go!"
