Diegos POV
"do you still love me?" I asked quietly, staring at the ring in the palm of my hand.
"of..of course.." she was on the verge of tears.
"Diego..." Danny sighed.
"shut up. I have nothing to say to you." I gritted my teeth.
"thanks for Dinner...but I can't stay. We have to head back to the airport tonight for the last week of tour so I'm going to go see my family...please excuse me..." I said as I quickly stood up, throwing Danny his jacket before walking out the door.
"diego!" I heard madeline cry out as I walked out the door.
"diego stop! Please..let me explain!" she ran out the doors following me out on the sidewalk
"madeline. Theres nothing to explain!" I turned around and yelled.
"you cheated. With my bestfriend!" my voice cracked as I made my way down the sidewalk.
"Do you love me?" I turned around and faced her with tears in my eyes.
"Yes Diego!!!" She started to fall apart.
"Then why did you take this off..." I said quietly while pulling the ring out of my pocket.
"Because....i.." she sighed.
"When did it start...right when I left?" I asked hardly.
"What? No!" She exclaimed.
"How many times..." I bit my tongue to hold back the tears.
"Three....and it started once you hit the east coast...." she slowly met my eyes.
"Wow. Y'all fucked more in one month than me and you have in three months!" I laughed with tears running down my face.
She had nothing to say, so she said nothing at all.
"If you love me...truly....then take this ring.." I didn't make eye contact as I help my hand out with the ring.
"All I wanted was a family....a wife to love me and cherish me...and to allow me to do the same..." i whispered.
"For some fucking reason, I still want to marry you " I continued, laughing nervously, trying to overcome the fact my heart was breaking intensively.
"Diego...." she seemed hesitant.
"But I can't even be mad at you..." I sighed. I knew what I was about to do was wrong. But I wanted her to feel the pain im feeling.
"Why not..." she asked.
"Because I cheated on you too.." I looked up at her.
This chapter was short and trash but I'm updating again tonight to make up for it.
