Just then Hayley came into my room."Annie, can i borrow your straightener?" "why?"I asked confusingly. Hayley looks back at me shocked and asks "didn't mom tell you that we are going for dinner at the new neighbours' house?"
"No, when is it?" I questioned calmly.
"Its today evening." "TODAY EVENING!" I shouted.
"So can i borrow your straightener or not?" she asked again. "Yeah sure"
She went out taking my straightener with her and i quickly started getting ready

All of a sudden, my mum barged into my room and commanded to go down so we can leave. I bounded down as she followed behind me and we walked over to their house
