Aphmau's Pov

Humming a made up tune as I cheerfully ate my choc mint ice cream and entered our resort house only to find a surprisingly angry looking Kawaii~chan glaring at me,

"Where were you Aphmau~senpai everyone was worried about y-" stopping herself as I held out the extra vanilla ice cream I had bought,

"You can have it and put whatever you want on it, no lectures from Katelyn, as long as you don't go claws out on me, deal?" I questioned giving a sly smile,

Nervously glancing between at the ice cream and me she ended with a smile, running up and bear hugging me before taking the ice cream from my hand and booking it upstairs to Lucida and her's room, probably to get her secret stash of sugar and sweets that she thinks no one knows about, well Katelyn doesn't know,

Propping myself onto a stool I casually waited for the rest of the girls to come back,

I was about done my own ice cream when finally the rest of the group returned,

"Took you long enough" I complained gulping down the last piece of ice cream cone before grabbing the last two I left in the fridge,

"Aphmau?! When did you get here?" Zane inquired,

"Ages ago" I replied simply, handing the ice creams to their owners "For Lucinda a Pina Colada" giving me a strange look I simply moved on "And for Katelyn a cookies and cream, Kat Kit extravaganza" blushing slightly she hesitantly took the ice cream,

"So you dashed out of here like a madwomen, scaring us half to death just to go get ice cream, typical" Zane commented,

"and you didn't even get one for all of us" Garroth complained,

"As a matter of fact, no, the ice creams are just to celebrate with" more puzzled looks,

"Just go get Kawaii~chan, Lucinda? She should be upstairs" surprisingly doing as I asked Lucinda was making her way upstairs ice cream in hand and all,

Long awkward silence followed, until Lucinda came down with a quite hyper Kawaii~chan in tow,

"What type of ice cream did you give her?" I hear Katelyn whisper into my ear,

"Just Vanilla" I replied, not turning around,

"Okay, now that Kawaii~chan is here can you please tell us where you went?" Aaron inquired,

"Well, you know how I've been stuck in my room recently, researching" nodding along in agreement I continued "well I was actually planning for this" pulling out the four slightly bent tickets from the bottom of the carry tray, handing one to each of the girls "sorry it's so late and I know it may not look like much, but I promise it's going to be super fun" after letting the girls examine their tickets I was swamped in a crushing hug,

"Oh my Irene, Aphmau we thought something was seriously wrong, but you were just..." Katelyn cried out, hugging me tighter,

"Wait what's going on?" Garroth questioned,

Releasing myself from the hug I calmly sat down on the bar stool again "I have gotten boat tickets for just the girls and I, so we can spend some quality time together, just a girls day out" I explained,

"You ready?" Aaron questioned, his hands holding mine, a bright red blush plastered on my face, luckily hidden by the darkness around us,

"I'm the one that planned this trip Aaron, of course I am" I replied giggling slightly,

"Good" he said, leaning in and placing a kiss on my cheek,

"C'mon Aph, you'll have plenty of time to kiss your boyfriend when we get back" Lucinda teased,

"Okay, Okay, I'm coming" giving one last hug to Aaron I joined the girls on the boat,

Turning the keys in the ignition I felt the rumble beneath me, pulling the lever forwards slowly I felt the boat start to pull away from the dock, gathering speed, our friends left behind got further and further away until it was only a little line in the distance,

"Now who's ready for an adventure" I called over my shoulder to the girls, my words travelling in the wind that whipped by,

"I sure as Irene am" Katelyn cheered making her way to the boats controls and turning on and blasting her favourite music station, cheers sounded from the other two girls and I even managed to let out a chuckle, but as fun as this may seem, I was terrified, I didn't realize how bad of an idea this was,

We continued to joke, dance and sing throughout two whole hours of boating until finally upon the distance I managed to spot the small outline of a little island with a single abandoned luxury house upon its shores,

"Woah...Aphmau? Is this the surprise you were talking about" Katelyn questioned her eyes spotting the ever approaching island, giving a nod I turned off the radio and continued my path as Kawaii~chan and a little bit of a tipsy Lucinda made their way to the front as well,

"Woah Aph you really know how to treat a lady" Lucinda managed to slur out,

I slowly eased of the throttle and slowed the boat beside the old kayaking dock, gathering the boats tattered rope I maneuvered my way around the still gazing girls and made my way to the boats edge, the water below was shallow probaly only a meter deep but it still terrified me, it glistened in the moonlight as I took a step atop the boats railing and swiftly leaped aboard the dock,

The dock swayed and creaked the old wood threatening to break with every step I took, tying the rope to the closet pole I dashed towards where the beach meets the dock "C'mon girls we dont have all night" I called from the shore,

The girls now noticing my position on the shore quickly followed suit, the island house was abandoned only a few months ago so the wear of the house was decent you could tell the outside had seen better days by the slightly rusted garden shed and the little spots of paint peeling in the corners and of course the uncut grass patches and overgrown hedges, but it was not too bad "What exactly is this place Aph?" Katelyn questions

The girls are now beside me with the bags of supplies we brought with us "Well...this is the house of two newlyweds who died in a mysterious boating accident, the house was later bought but the owners say they were haunted by two figures dressed in white clothes, stained in blood...the couple had come back to forever haunt those who trespass",

"Aphmau~senpai is that true? Kawaii~chan doesn't want to stay if it is" the pink haired meifwa spoke shirlding herself behind Katelyn,

"Aww I'm sorry I was just joking, it was just an attraction that the resort never opened to the public and thus abandonded" I skillfully lied to the cowering girl,

Picking up one of the bags I began towards the island houses door with my friends in tow,

The resort evacuated the island house immediately once they got news of a 'contaminant', as such the didn't have time or need to clear out the furniture or equipment, or even lock the doors, so that's why it was so easy to get into the fully furnished island resort house,

I just hoped that it would be that easy to leave.
