"Your majesty princess y/n. please understand that your mother and father wanted you to live your life to the fullest once you have become of age. i have promised them that my son jeon jungkook would watch over you, he is the most wanted royal guard for his skill and tactics. princess please understand. you're parents didnt die in vain. it was a simple accident. no one didnt know that the building would collapse." the royal advisor spoke through the phone.Y/n, the princess of her own kingdom at a young age now understood disappointment and depression. her now new body guard jungkook stood next to her as she stood by a window in the throne room. she looked behind her where both of her parents pictures had rested. she watched as the staff had let a black curtain flow down the pictures of her parents, a tear escaped her eyes.
"long live the king and queen" a staff said softly. the princess looked at the staff smiling softly. "nice lion king reference even though its not very great for this moment"
the princess walked away with jungkook walking right behind her, she didnt mind his company since they were making small talk and becoming friends. she really did enjoy his company. it was honestly taking her mind off of her parents.
Within a year of her parents death y/n had become the most famous royal there was. she was loved by all countries, even the countires people havent heard of. she was on magazine covers telling her most valuble stories of her parents and how she was fond of her staff for staying with her throough the hard times. she didnt only do that, she was known for being a model in russia and for being an activist in the love yourself campaign 7 staff members had created for her for people in need. she gave full credit to those staff members and had let them run the campaign by themselves with her help sometimes.
but right now the girl was in the throne room, she was helping the some staff wiht their children. she would have bought the children clothes and toys they wanted if they ad behaved well in school and at home in the castle for a month.
"jungkook can you help me with this? i dont think shin-ae wants such a horrid doll. she says she doesnt like tall ones."y/n said softly as she watched jungkook switch the doll with a baby one. he smirked seeing y/n smile approvingly.
"thank you jungkook, what would i do without you love?" jungkook blushed at y/n's words not expecting them to come out of her mouth. he looked away once shin-ae and her mother walked in to recieve the gift. Both the mother and the little girl looked at jungkook laughing. he seemed so red almost like a cherry tomato. they bid their goodbye's with a hug.
As shin-ae left with her mother to go to the staff corridors y/n looked at jungkook who had calmed down. he looked back at her giving her a rather uninterested face. She had turned right back around towards the front before getting up off of her throne.
She looked at the rather large clock on the wall near her parents pictures and she walked out of the room with jungkook trailing her like a lost puppy. the poor guard would be in trouble if he left the princess behind.
she walked into the commons area of the castle going outside. she didnt bother holding the sides of her dress since it wasnt her favorite at all. It was the princess' final meeting that day and she was prepared for it. entering the courtyard as she crossed paths with a few gardeners taking care of her mothers garden with much care.
The young princess looked up at her mothers statue smiling softly and she bowed a little showing the respect she still had for her departed mother. "wish me luck on the meeting mother." the princess left the statue without another word, she couldnt stay long and stare at the statue that was the spitting image of her mother, she wanted to look at the beauty of her mother more but couldnt.
