Part II|Chapter 2:New Family

QUE POV

       Once I hung up the phone my blood was boiling. I couldn't believe what Kelsey just told me. I went into my room slipping on my new Jordan 1's. I grabbed one of my Nike hats putting it on backwards. And made my way downstairs.
"Daddy where you going?" My daughter Shayla asked. I picked her up kissing her on the cheek.
"Daddy be right back." I told her.
"Where you going?" My girlfriend Shawanda said appearing out of no where. I know what y'all thinking. But yea me and her are together now. After all that shit happened between me and Kels we decided it was best if we not be together, it's best for not only us but for our kids. We both did some fucked up shit to each other. Her ass damn near killed me. That day all that shit happened my mind was all fucked up. The shit that triggered me was when she said she fucked Jay while I was in jail and how it was a chance that he was the father of Kellie. I went ballistic when she said that shit. I don't know why I took it that far. Knowing she was pregnant with my baby girl, I felt horrible. She almost lost her because of me and still to this day I can't forgive myself for that. I'm always apologizing to her about that but she always tells me to stop apologizing. She said she forgave me a long time ago. Since that day we haven't really talked about what happened that day, we just apologized and kept it like that. All the shit I said to her was out of anger, I didn't mean any of it. Kelsey is worth more than laying on her back and having kids and she knows that. I cheat because I'm so blinded by the love she gives that I try to find it elsewhere. I lost the best woman ever and that shit fucks with my head everyday.
"Hello...where you going?" Shawanda asked again. She stood in front of me with her arms crossed.
"To see my kids" I simply said. She twisted her lips to the side.
"Don't do that shit." I said as I rolled my eyes and put Shayla down. She was always doing or saying slick shit when I went over to see them just for the simple fact that she didn't want me no where near Kelsey. She knew a little about me and Kelsey's history, not much but just simple shit I told her. Shawanda knew her place tho, she knew not to ever say no disrespect shit about my kids....or Kelsey.
"When you coming back!" She asked. I looked at my phone because I got a text from my home girl Ash.
"Um I don't know whenever I'm finish spending time with them, I might go chill with Ash later tho" I told her getting irritated by all the questions she was asking me.
"Oh...but it's only 1 o'clock. Ain't they at school?" She asked squinting her eyes.
"Nah Kali home and so is Kayci" I said as I put my phone in my pocket. She just nodded.
"Give me a kiss" she said as she grabbed my waist. I pecked her lips.
"I love you..." she said with a smile. I smirked.
"Me too. I see you later." I told her as I picked up Shayla kissing her goodbye.

After shit went down hill for me and Kels I said fuck love. The only people I loved now was my kids. I still loved Kelsey but I don't like to admit that cause I know she hates me and probably doesn't love me. We are civil with each other and have a decent friendship because of the kids. I think if I would of just cheated she would of took me back but I didn't only cheat but had a whole child and she's only 6 months younger than Kayci. I rubbed my hand down my face and gentle pulled on my beard as I pulled off.

      I rung Kelsey's door bell and patiently waited. A few seconds later she opened the door and moved aside to let me in. Her eyes was so puffy, you could tell she was crying.
"She in her room?" She lowly said as she closed the door behind me.
"How are you? You ok?" I asked her as she sat down on her couch. She nodded.
"DADDDDDYY!" Kayci yelled as she ran to me. I instantly smiled as I picked her up. Kayci was my heart, I favored her out of all the kids. I guess it was guilt.
"Hey daddy's baby. You feeling ok? Mommy told me you was sick" I said. She giggled.
"I'm better now. My birthday in 6 days daddy...Shay Shay coming right" she said excitedly referring to her sister Shayla. I chuckled. She was so smart to only be turning 5 years old.
"Yes I know, I can't wait until your party and yes Shay Shay is coming" I said. She was having a shopkins themed party. She squeezed the shit out my neck as she hugged me.
"Yay I'm so happy, I love you daddy" she said. My heart always melted when she said I love you. I almost could of been the cause of her not being here.
"I love you too...let me talk to mommy alone ok?" I said. She nodded and quickly ran back into the kitchen. Kelsey sat on the couch Indian style looking at a blank tv.
"You ok Kels?" I asked sitting next to her. She nodded not even looking at me.
"Tell me what happen. Who's this nigga?" I asked. She sighed as she crossed her arms.
"I don't know the boy, well man. All he told me was that he was 21. He said she told him she was 18. You know your daughter is a compulsive fucking liar, hmm" she said eyeing me. I shook my head knowing she got that shit from me. But Kali would lie over dumb shit.
"This was her first time?" I asked.
"No. The way she was riding that nigga she seems very experienced. I can't believer her. Than she got the nerve to be acting all nonchalant like it's nothing. She 15 Years Old. Sex shouldn't even be on her mind. And she was fucking with no condom. It'll just be her luck if she pregnant or catch something" Kelsey said. I can tell she was mad but hurt at the same time. Her nose flared, she looked so cute when she was mad. I snapped out of my thoughts. I sighed as I ran my hand down my face and gentle tugged at my beard.
"I'll talk to her, but Kels I honestly don't know what to say. Like what the fuck man. She a damn child trying to be grown" I groaned as I rested my head in my hands.
"I don't know what to say to her either. It seems like whatever I say go in one ear and out the other. Me trying to talk to her is just going to turn into us yelling back and forth. And I'm not about to argue with her. She keeps forgetting I'm the mother and she's the fucking child. I'm so close to really fucking her up Que I'm so serious." Kelsey said looking at me with a mean mug.
"Ok just calm down. I'm bout to go talk to her iight. Schedule her an doctors appointment tomorrow and I'll go get her the day after pill just Incase. Ok?" I said. She nodded looking like she was about to cry.
