"Alright Miss Danvers, Logan is perfectly healthy." Dr. Wilkins says, smiling.
"Thank you so much." Kara says, grabbing her purse. She walks over to the examination table and helps Logan onto the floor. She grabs his hand and walks out the door. They walk through the hospital and get to Kara's car before her phone starts ringing.
"Hold on, buddy." Kara says, searching through her purse. She finds her phone and answers it.
"Hello?" Kara asks into the phone.
"Kara! Oh my god. You're alive." The person says. Kara looks at the caller address but doesn't recognize the number.
"Who is this?" Kara asks, confused as to who called her.
"It's Winn." Winn says. Kara stands there frozen. "Listen, something happened to Evie. You need to get to the DEO asap." Right then, Kara hangs up.
"What wrong?" Logan asks his mother.
"Something happened with Evie. Come on, we have to go." Kara says, getting her son into the car.
...
Kara walks into the DEO, Logan in her arms. She walks straight to the med bay, trying to find Evie.
"Kara!" Someone yells. Kara turns around to see Alex running towards her. Alex engulfs her into a hug. Kara hugs her sister.
"I've missed you." Alex says, a tear rolling down her cheek.
"I missed you too." Kara says. "Where's Evie?" Kara asks, worried about her daughter.
"She's fine, I promise." Alex says, dismissing Kara's question. Kara, though, wasn't in the mood. "Who's this?" Alex asks, referring to Logan.
"This is Logan." Kara says. Logan looks over at the brunette and then back at Kara.
"Mommy, who's that?" Logan asks. Alex raises her eyebrow but Kara ignores it.
"This is Auntie Alex." Kara says. Realization flashes across Logan's face.
"Hi." He says, smiling a smile that always seemed to warm Kara's heart.
"Alex, where's my daughter?" Kara asks.
"Game room with Mon-El." Alex responds.
"Can you watch Logan for awhile." Kara asks.
"Yeah, of course." Kara hands her sister Logan and starts running towards the game room. She kept receiving surprised looks from everyone she passed. She wasn't bothered. All she cared about was getting to Evie.
She runs to familiar room her and Alex would spend time in. She bursts through the doors to see Evie and Mon-El playing pool. A sense a relief washes over her. The two take their eyes off the game and look at Kara.
"Mommy!" Evie yells, running towards her mother. Kara bends down to Evie's level and hugs her.
"Kara, it's been so long." Mon-El says awkwardly. Kara lets go of her daughter and stands up to face her ex-boyfriend. Kara didn't understand why he would be the one that felt awkward.
"Yeah, how have you been?" Kara asks, trying to start up a conversation.
"It's been okay. I can tell you've had a fun time." Mon-El responds, looking down as Evie. 'Only if he knew' Kara thought.
"Mom, come watch me beat him." Evie says, pulling on her mother's arm.
"That's not going to happen." Mon-El says, going back to the pool table. The two of them continue playing until there's only one ball left on the table. Kara leans over Evie to whisper something in her ear.
"No helping." Mon-El says causing Evie to laugh. Kara stands back up and watches as Evie hits the white ball. It shakes into the eight ball, sending it into the hole.
"You won!" Kara says excitedly, high-fiving her daughter. Evie laughs as Mon-El pouts.
"That's pretty pathetic." Kara says, laughing at Mon-El.
...
Kara walks up to Alex, wondering as to where Logan is. Alex was talking with Hank but Kara didn't care.
"Alex, where's my son?" Kara asks, holding tightly onto Evie's hand.
"I dropped him off at Lena's." Alex replies.
"You have a son too?" Hank asks Kara. Kara looks at Hank and nods. She really didn't want to explain anymore. Kara turns back to Alex.
"Why did you drop him off at Lena's?" Kara asks, trying to stay calm.
"I wanted you to stay longer. It's been six years, Kara. You ran away and I never heard from you. Do you know how many nights I laid awake thinking about where you were? I never stopped thinking about you." Alex says, watching closely at her sister's reaction.
"Do you think I stopped thinking about you? There's not a day that passed where I would think about coming back." Kara explains.
"Then why didn't you?" Alex asks.
"I have a six-year-old and a two-year-old. Coming back would mean I would go back to being Supergirl. I couldn't do that knowing what would happen to them." Kara says in a stern voice. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to pick up Logan."
