~Charlotte's POV~

I was sitting in the audience with Houki, Cecilia, Rin, and Ichika. I felt bad that I wasn't able to be Aaron's partner but, he told me not to worry about it. "Ladies and gentlemen, before we get to the actual tournament, we have decided to hold an exhibition match between our 2 brightest students... Aaron Cooper and Laura Bodewig!" What?!

Everyone was shocked, to say the least. Realization spread across my face. Aaron did this! No wonder he was so casual when I told him that Ichika had paired with me. "Charles? What's wrong?" "I figured out that Aaron was the cause of this exhibition match" "Is that why I saw him talking to Chifuyu?" Ichika asks himself.

~Aaron's POV~

I stood in the hanger, in my I.S, waiting for the signal to launch. Everyone's probably mad at me... But, only Ichika will understand why I'm doing this. Laura hurt my friends and she will repent. After my inner monologue, Chifuyu gave me the symbol to launch.

I shot out, at the same time as Laura, and instantly summoned both my swords. "Start!" I quickly flew around her left before curving my path to go directly at her. At the last moment I dipped down, dodging her AIC, and attacking from the bottom. I got 2 hits in before Laura activated her laser swords and clashing swords with me.

"What? No words? I'd thought you'd like to at least yell at me for ignoring you" "I would love to, but that can wait till I kick your ass" I say as I break the clash and kick her away. She fired her wires but I cut them to pieces with my swords. I let go of my sword in my left hand and summoned my shotgun.

"What are you going to do with that weak weapon?" "This..." I cut myself off by firing. She used her AIC to block the bullets. Fell right into my trap. While she was focused on blocking all my shots, cause I kept shooting, I slowly moved to the right. After firing 1 more time, I used ignition boost to attack her right flank.

Sadly, she expected it and shot her railgun at me. I got hit and was sent into the ground. I had 450 out of 700 shield energy left. Damn, that railgun packs a fucking punch. I got up, and started gliding around on the ground to dodge all the wires Laura fired at me.

I switched both my shotgun and my sword, for my assault rifle. I spun around Laura in circles, firing at her from all angles.

While I was hitting her with most of my bullets, she was taking little damage. I switched back to my swords and stopped moving. One of Laura's wires tried to hit me but I leaned my head to the left to dodge. I then grabbed the wire and, using my I.S's strength, swung Laura around in circles before letting go, sending her crashing into the wall.

As she got up, I was suddenly in front of her. I kneed her in the gut, knocking the wind out of her, before grabbing her head and smashing her back into the wall. "Before I start on about ignoring my words *punch* I'm going to start with *punch* how stupid you are *punch*" she was so far into o the wall from me punching her, she couldn't move.
