Chapter 9

"Adrien, where were you?" Gabriel asked. "At the spring fair, father." Adrien replied tensely. "You must notify me if you are to be away for so long. I was worried!" Gabriel exclaimed, with a hint of anger.
"Father! Why can't I just go with my friends and be normal?" Adrien cried. He got a response he expected: "Because you are not normal. You are my son!" Adrien then ran to his room, clearly hurt.

Adrien lied down on his bed, thinking about how to get in touch with his soulmate. He then remembered: He never learned Marinette's power! She had said that she might tell them.. but then! Sparks started to fly for Adrien as he realized that Alya had never come down that water bridge. He remembered that once he got water for Nino, he saw a bridge and used his power to destroy it. But.. where did it come from? Adrien saw Marinette lying on the ground.. could it be true?

Did Marinette have the power of creation?
Was Marinette his... soulmate?
