Well... Here I go again
Breaking bonds and causing pain
Just so that I can cry on my own
In this messy empty home
The friends that aren't dead
I've just cut off instead
Just like everyone before
Oh I can't do this anymore!
Every time I make
These stupid mistakes
It's just fight or flight
But I'm so tired of flying.
Though once it was ok to soar
I just can't keep this up much more
I tried to face my problems
I can't handle all of them
At least, not on my own
But these burdens are my own!
I'm tired of pushing them away
I wish I could make it okay to stay.
Every time I make
These stupid mistakes
It's just fight or flight
But I'm so tired of flying.
It's been a long few months and more
That I've spent mourning for
A lost soul I could have saved
If I didn't fly away
I should have fought for her
I'd rather die than her!
But for now, I'll keep flying,
Just fleeing and isolating.
