After all this time, all that stress
There is nothing left between us
Just a sentence was all I needed
To realize that I was never needed
You were right. I'm pathetic.
Too awkward, too apologetic
Our bond was never mendable.
I guess I really am replaceable.
I wonder if it ever occurred to you
That I still loved you
But we're long past goodbyes
I'm glad you're not left crying.
How stupid it must seem
That an insult feels bittersweet.
But it only feels that way to me.
