chapter 3

I woke up to my 8 o clock alarm

WORK

I jumped up and ran into my bathroom taking a shower and changing into my uniform and grabbing my back and slipping on my heels

I grabbed my phone and then walked out ny room and realised it was only half 8

I made some toast and after i was finished i got into he elevator and saw kia

'Hey' i said

'Hey girl why did you leave on Friday I came to give you your keys' she said and i took them

'I got the freaking job' i said changing the subject and she sequeled

'I just came to give the keys but anyway see you bye tell me everything later' she said and i got into my car and drove off

Well at least I got there early

I parked and then got i got into the building

'Miss lacey' i heard

'Yes' i said turning around to meet a body guard

'Mr James would like you upstairs to talk about the job' he said and we headed upstairs

'Yes sir we are coming right now' he said and and the elevator rang and we got out walking to an office when i saw 2 more guards waiting by the door and they met me through and I saw a the actual reception

'Hey are you the new receptionist' a woman asked me

'Yes I'm madison' i said

'Im ellie and this building and other franchises are run by a man called adrian James and his dad. Adrian isn't here so it's his dad. But always call them sir' she said and i nodded

'And don't drool' she said as I was walking

I knocked on the door and heard a deep voice say

'Come in'

I headed in and damn this office was as big as my apartment

'Sit down' he said and now I knew why she told me to not drool

This man was mighty fine

But he has a son

And he's my boss

'So madison how are you' he said

I'm alright how are you' i asked

'I'm alright thank you I'm jason and Well ellie has probably told you that my son adrian isn't here Becuase he has a meeting. So I'm telling you. You all you responsibilities. Well I've written them down for you. This is all you have to do.' He said

Come at 9 am sharp

At 9:30 am make a cup of coffee for adrian and send it to his office.

He will then tell you all you have to do for the day

'So when between 9 and 9:30 what do I do' i said

'Sit in your cabin it's next door. And there's a pile of folders appointments. Can you put that on an excel spreadsheet and print it then send it here please. Any problems come here' he said and i nodded and walked out and walked into my cabin and saw a huge ass pile

Bloody hell they're are like 20 folders thick folders here

I then sat down and ellie walked in

'Don't stress you have the whole day to do that. Lunch is at 12 to 1. You get off at 4 and here's coffee' she said

'Thanks' i sad and logged on to the computer and opened excel and got the first folder and write the company's name down and stated working my way through it

I was on my 9th folder when i checked the time

11:54 am

Well it's been almost 3 hours

And it wasn't 20 folders

Only 15

Just then jason walked in

'Woah you are a fast Typer' he said

'You coming for lunch' he said

'Yeah I'll join you lot in a bit' i said and he smiled and the i looked outside the window

There's a huge ass camera outside my cabin

And only my cabin

Has he been watching me

I focused on the work and got through 3 more folders and had almost finished my 12th folder until i craved some coffee

I got up and grabbed my mug walking out into the kitchen

'Hey madison' ellie said behind me

'Yeah' i said

'I'll make the coffee I'll get it to your office' she said and i nodded and walked back inside to my cabin and finished my 12th folder and got my 13th one when I realised it made no sense

If he wants an appointment at 12 next week why does he want 3 more appointments the same time and saw day

I got up thinking i should go to jason

He did say if I had a problem I should go to him

I got up reading the time

13:43 pm

I knocked on his door and then heard

'Come in'

I walked in and saw another person that looked a lot like him

'Ah madiosn meet my son. Adrian' he said and i looked at him and smiled

'Was there any problem' Jason asked

'Um yeah. 13th folder. He's requested an appointment next week Thursday at 12. But then he's asked for 3 more appointments same day and same time next week' i said

'Who is it' Adrian asked

'A stock trader in abu dhabi dubai' i said

'Call him and make an appointment with him next week Friday at 2' adrian said

'Sure' i said walking out

'Madison' i heard and i turned around

'When your finished can you come back here' Jason said and i nodded and closed the door

What would he want

I shook my head and got into my office and closed the door and saw the coffee mug

I put the folders i had done on the floor to the side and called the stock trader in abu dhabi

'Hello' the man said in an accent

'Hi im calling from James enterprises'i said

'Yes is my appointment been fixed' he asked

'Sir wants you next week on Friday at 2' i said

'Saala kutta' he said

'Excuse me' i said

'Yeah I'll be there' he said  and i hung up and then I ended up finishing the folders and remembered jason wanted me

I printed the spread sheet and walked out

And it's only half 2

I knocked on his door and adrian opened it and without a word he walked off door still open back into the room

Rude

I walked in and closed the door

'Right so now you have which is impressive because it took ellie nearly 2 days to finish that' he said and i gave him the spread sheets

'You can leave early today tomorrow 9 am sharp' he said and i nodded
