So I'm sure you're wondering 'what does some hipster have to say about making covers?' Well something!
See back in the day my most reliable source for covers were one random image from google that vaguely has to do with the story.
Later I got Picsart and my cover skills improved. I made some covers I was somewhat proud of like the Rise of Will cover in particular.
Now Picsart became unavailable to me for a while so I used the next best thing. Canva. Now I actually like a few of the covers I made with Canva. Beta Rises and Soulweilder being prime examples.
With Canva I needed an image with no white background so what I could do was severely limited.
So my best bet has always been to find books where people take cover requests and make covers. Seriously my best looking covers are ones made by others.
So what was the point of this? The moral of the story is that whatever programs the cover makers are using are superior and we should all use their help to make good covers.
Or maybe I'm just missing the magical program that makes me make the covers I imagine.
What was the point of this again? No clue!
