"Jared cheated on me again." Kim said.
"Why are you still with him then?" I replied with concern in my tone.
"He promised he would change, he just needs time."
"Kim I don't know about this."
"It's my choice." Her voice trailed off as she made eye contact with only the wall again.
I sighed as I put myself deeper into regret. She's not going to change her mind, no matter what Jared does. She knows he's bad for her, but she won't listen to me.
~ (time skip until the end of the school day)
I walked out of history class, and hurried over to my locker. I opened up the lock quickly, and the lock swung open. I grabbed all my things almost at the speed of light, and shut my locker closed again.
"MARIE WAIT!" I heard Georgie call as I walked down the hallway.
"Hey." I said and stopped in my tracks and faced him.
We walked outside the doors together, and then we leaned against the fence.
"So what did you need to talk to me about this morning?" I asked.
He looked at me, but he didn't say anything.
"You have the floor." I said and giggled.
"Remember the day we saw Codey at 7-11? Do you remember what happened?" Georgie asked and made eye contact with his own feet.
"What are you getting at?" I asked quietly.
"You're gonna say no never mind."
"Well how do I know what I'm going to say if you don't ask me?"
"Okay fine. I was wondering if you wanted to get back together."
