Chapter 17

"Yes I am the crown princess" Eliza said

"B-b-but you're in jail" Liang said

"And like I said, she blamed herself for what happened" Musashi said

"And I must set an example for my people, I was the cause so I am at fault, I must attone for my sins in jail, but after some years, and a few months of being here, I can not take it anymore" Liza said

"What...happened anyway?" Qi asked

"Hm...I will start from the beginning, My father was not a nice man as he occasionally make me train till I drop, I understand that it can be for my safety but, the trainings he gives is too harsh, he once even made me go to Germany with no money, no guardian and no shelter, and expected me to be great at school" She placed her hand on Mushi's

She continued "that is when Mushi found me, I was starving to death and he saved me, he allowed me to stay at his house, we soon formed a relationship, but my father found out, he demanded me to go back to Elirian kingdom, I did go but I seldom give Mushi secret visits when he is in jail, sadly my father found out, he punished me greatly as we fought in a balcony, he was about to push me off but I grabbed on a window before he pushed me causing him to fall off to his death, If I did not avoided him, he would not have died, I can survive that fall whilst I know that he can not, I am to blame, therefore I had myself arrested"

The others besides Mushi is left shock, she really did do nothing wrong, she just avoided her father who was about to push her, it was not intentional it was an accident

"But, you didn't do it on purpose, you just avoided it!" Upa said

"I am aware but if I had not avoided he would not have died correct?" Liza said

"No, you did nothing wrong!" Trois said

"He was the one who was supposed to be here, he was going to push you!" Uno said

All of them were trying to convince her she did nothing wrong, Eliza is now looking troubled, Musashi held both her hands

"Liza it's true that you did avoid it, but it was a matter of self defense, when in danger it's natural to avoid it" he touched her cheek "don't blame yourself anymore, if you want to be punished you already did, you went through a lot of prisons, you didn't even use your status to escape, you're a good person, just accept"

Liza looked at him for a second then smiled "understood"

Musashi and the others smiled "um..." they looked and saw Upa in front of her "I-I'm sorry"

The others looked at him and nodded at eachother "We're sorry too" they all said

"....for now you are not forgiven" Liza said as they got shocked

"Wh- why?" Upa asked

"All of you excpect Mushi have continued to hurt my feelings for 2 weeks straight not even knowing the full truth, do you absoulutely think that I can forgive you so easily?" Liza said

They went silent

"But, I am giving you a second chance but I want you to work for it and by that I mean earn my trust again, though I can not assure things will go back to normal, especially that I'm leaving in a few days"

"Leaving!?" Upa asked

"Yes, so if you don't hurry to gain it I might go away for good with Mushi" She said

A guard came in "Princess Elizandra, the warden has told me to inform you that she has prepared quarters for you in her house"

"Tell her to cancel it, have my cell prepared to look like a better room, and give me the keys for it, I will stay there" She said

The guard nodded and went away

"Liza, why to your cell?" Mushi asked

"I told them I am giving them a chance did I not? ,If I will give them a chance then I best must stay close, I will also follow my usual routine here, and occasionally visit you" She said

"Alright, if that's what you want" Mushi gave her a kiss on the cheek

"Hey! Why did you kiss her!?" Upa asked

"Were you not listening to the story earlier? Liza and I are in a relationship" Mushi said

"And I am happy to be with him"  Liza added

Before Upa could talk again Mitsuru came "Hey Hey! Little rabbit! Your room's done! I wanted to tell you personally and.." He lifted Liza up and gave her hugs "I wanted to give you some hugs"

A dark aura formed around Mushi, Mitsuru chuckled "hihihi, jealous boyfriend ey?" He placed liza down "don't worry flame brain, I don't like little rabbit in that way" He left as sudden as he entered

Eliza stood up "now if you will excuse me, I shall go to my quarters"
