It's 8:06AM on a Saturday morning. Why do I wake up way so early? I already know everyone else is still asleep, so I decide to take my car, a Ford Focus, to the bookstore to get a new book. I had finished Wamped last night after I got home.

I arrive at the bookstore. As soon as I walk in there is a very attractive guy who looks about my age. I don't think anything more of him though. I give him a passing smile and walk straight to the romance isle. True love is only real in books. I giggle to myself at my thought.

I skim through the books, when I notice that same guy on the isle in front of mine. After searching, I find a book I like and stroll over to the mystery section. I see him go to a new isle closer to me. I can't help but wonder if he is following me. I push the thought aside and I get another book.

A few moments later, here he is again. On another isle watching me. I decide to confront him. I walk over to the isle he is on and look up to him.

"Can I help you?" my voice is unyielding.

"Me?" he blinks and plays dumb.

"Yeah." I continue to stare at him.

"Er-I was just following this really pretty girl. Maybe you can help me talk to her?" he smiles shyly.

That was so lame but it makes me blush.

"Unless the pretty girl has a boyfriend, then I would be a total idiot, for trying." He sounds discouraged.

"Well you're in luck. The pretty girl doesn't have a boyfriend." I blush as I catch he's referring to me.

"That is a relief. My name is Cole." He extends his hand for me to shake.

He is quite handsome in an old fashion way. Cole's hair is blonde which compliments his blue eyes. He is wearing a brown polo shirt, khakis and Sperry's. If only he flirted as elegantly as he dressed.

"I'm Jessie." I say after observing him.

"I know this is kind of forward, and I don't do this often, but do you want to get a bite to eat, Jessie?" he asked.

Hearing him say my name made a little butterfly appear in my stomach. I am not used to guys coming up to me and asking me out, much less trying this hard.

"I would love to." I just know my cheeks are on fire. I hope they aren't too noticeable

It's not like me to go on a date with a total stranger, but I feel a little frisky. Maybe it's leftover confidence that I had after kneeing Kyle in the balls last night, but I liked it.

"Are you from here?" I don't think I have ever seen him around Belle Mont.

"I just moved here." He says as he runs his fingers through his hair.

"I'm sorry." I joke, we both laugh. "What school are you going to?" who is this new me? I am smooth, cool, and confident. I guess I am taking a page from Justin's book.

"Belle Mont High."

"I go there!" I hope he doesn't notice how giddy I am.

"Some of my friends go there and they wanted me to transfer because they have a really good football team there."

"Yeah, we do! We are state champions." I respond happily for my team.

We keep talking and I learn he like all kinds of sports. He also seems pretty smart, he loves animals, and he likes the color blue. It's been a couple hours now and I am completely fascinated by him. I didn't think guys like him existed.
