1.Were still a Team

3rd POV

*2 years after civil war*

The Sokovia accords already separated a team, a family.

Steve wasn't leaving his friends behind, he never did, he never would.

And they knew that everything that happened wasn't going to be the last.

And that's when they heard about Thanos.

Steve knew that they needed everyone.

And he knew they needed Tony

His cap and his glasses framed his face, he pulled his hoodie over his head so he wouldn't be recognized

After all he was considered a criminal

He needed to talk to Tony, he needed his help more than ever. The team needed him, the world needed them.

As Steve reached his destination, he walked quietly towards him

"I knew you would come" Tony said without turning to look at him

He took a sip of his drink and turned towards him

Steve stepped out of his hiding spot

He looked different, everyone did.

Not only in looks but in expression, they all were worried, and tired of everything that happened.

"We need you Tony" Steve said with pleading eyes

Tony sighed and turned back around

"Why did you risk yourself Steve?" He asked
"You're a wanted man, just being here is dangerous" he finished off

Steve sighed and rubbed his tired eyes

"Tony after all that happened, you're still my friend, we're still a team and more than ever we need each other"

Tony turned to look at him

"I lost trust in you cap, I don't even know if we're a team"

Steve knew exactly what he was talking about

He lied to him about his parents death, he wanted to protect Bucky, but he realized he was trying to protect himself.

"Tony, I'm sorry and I know you will never forgive me but we must leave our own problems behind, there's a bigger problem that doesn't only concern us, but the rest of the world" Steve said

He knew Tony wouldn't forgive him

Tony sighed softly but still kept a straight face

"Where are they?" He finally asked after a few minutes of silence

Steve grinned slightly knowing where this was going

"Their safe, and they want you to come back Tony" A slight smile came over Tony's face

"Alright cap, we're the Avengers after all, we're supposed to be a team, a very dysfunctional team but a Team"

Steve laughed quietly at his words

They left with extra precaution

Steve took him to the middle of nowhere

"You sure you're not taking me somewhere to kill me cap" Tony asked while giving a glance to Steve as he got further away from the city

Steve ingnored him and continued to drive for a fee more minutes

They came to a stop and there was jet

As they got on they took off

"Where are we going Cap?" Tony asked

With a small grin he turned and looked at him

"Wakanda"
