Sharmaine's P.O.V

 '' Jerome ? '' sabi ko . I was beyond speechless . I didn't expect to see him too soon , especially in his office . The pervert's office .

'' Sharmaine ? '' sabi naman ni Jerome . Bakas sa mukha niya ang pagkagulat .

'' Wha-- , Wha-t are you doing here ? '' I asked him .

'' Bussiness . '' sagot niya .

'' Oh . I see . '' I said in response .

'' And you ? ''

'' I work here . '' sabi ko . His lips formed the letter O .

'' Wow . Small world huh ? '' 

'' Yeah . '' I said and we both smiled and stared at each other .

That very moment felt so magical .I can feel butterflies in my stomach and my heart beats faster . It was perfect . His dark orbs staring at me intensely .I moved closer towards him ... closer and closer .. until our faces are inches apart . I leaned and tried to kiss him but ....

'' Ahem . '' sabi nang isang boses , napatingin ako at nakita si Mr. Manyak na mukhang iritang-irita .

'' Ah .. Sorry sir . '' sabi ko at nilagay na ang coffee na hawak ko sa table niya .

'' Maybe I should get going . '' sabi ni Jerome .

'' Mabuti pa nga . '' sabi ni Mr. Manyak and he scowled . 

'' See you later Sharmaine ! '' sabi ni Jerome and he walked away .

Abot-tenga ang ngiti ko kahit na nakaalis na si Jerome . This must be what they called fate , right ? . Nakangiti pa rin ako nang mapatingin ako kay Mr. Manyak . He gave me the Get-out-of-here look , kaya dali-dali akong lumabas nang opisina niya at umupo na sa table ko .
