My heavy eyes opened to find the most devilishly handsome man staring at me in awe. Okay... not awkward at all. I suddenly realised what had happened. I witnessed a murder, got chase by a psychopath and now I'm waking up on the most comfortable king sized bed with this gorgeous hulk staring at me. Yup! That sums up my life right now.

An average person would be freaking out right now but Liam's eyes gave me reassurance that everything would be okay.

"Um... are you okay?" Stuttered Liam, breaking the awkward silence lingering.

"Yes. Um... thank you. May I... May I ask what happened?" I asked, slightly confused about how I had ended up in this luxurious bed.

"Oh yeah. I... I found u in the woods so I brought you here." He stuttered. I could tell he was hiding something. I could here in his voice.

"What are you hiding? What happened to the psycho chasing me? And I heard a gunshot. Who took the shot?" I asked, barely leaving enough time to catch my breath.

"Okay! So basically... I kind of... possibly... accidentally... sort of..." he mumbled.

"JUST TELL ME ALREADY!" I yelled getting very impatient.

"I MAY HAVE POSSIBLY TAKEN A SHOT AT MY BROTHER!" He shouted.

My mouth opened so wide in shock my jaw actually hit the floor. No wait, I just rolled of the unusually high bed and hit my head on the wooden floor. Owwwww.

"Are you okay?" Asked Liam, once again, rushing to my side.

"BACK UP! So let me get this straight! The psycho chasing me was your... brother and you shot him to save... me?" Wow I was so confused.

"Well I had to otherwise he would've been a danger to your life." Liam's eyes shone so bright, it was like an angelic shimmer of hope in a cabin of crepuscular shadows. The thought that he would have shot his own brother for me and the fact I could have died tonight was too much. And I did something I have not idea why. Or maybe I do.

I don't know why I did this but I grabbed his collar and pulled him in for a passionate kiss. At first I had surprised myself and thought I had to get this kiss out of my system, but the most unbelievable thing happened. He kissed me back. It was the longest, most meaningful kiss as fireworks exploded in my head and his broad arms wrapped tightly around my waist.
My hands combed through his auburn hair as our we drifted away from reality.

You know that feeling where something so amazing happens and it jut fills you with live and your heart just melts. Well I feel exactly that. I forgot any trouble and my mind was completely empty, except for the exploding fireworks. I was filled to the brim with love.
The kiss was abruptly broken by a knock at the door.

He pulled away for a moment as we both panted, gasping for air. What idiot decided to ruin my lifelong dream. Liam opened the door, and standing at the door is ...............
