After Daniel had taken me to the lounge, he locked the door behind me. I tried trust Daniel but I wanted to make sure he didn't do anything stupid. I grabbed a glass from the table and pressed it up against the wall. I've seen this in movies but I didn't know for sure if it would work.

"She doesn't remember anything of her last life, in fact she thinks she's my wife. If you admit defeat now we can go home and I'll even let her live. " Daniel's words echoed in my ears.
First of all, wow that glass trick worked surprisingly well. Second of all, I knew there was something wrong but never had I imagined it could be this bad. Daniel is a killer and goodness knows who the heck Liam is. I remembered something.

A memory was triggered. A crepuscular alley. The most beautiful man standing before me. Liam stood so close his cold breath sent and electrical sparks down my spine as our eyes were locked in an unbreakable connection. Liam felt familiar, but I don't know who to trust. On one hand, I feel and connection with Liam, on the other hand, Daniel fears his and calls him a villain, and then again he is most likely a psychopath himself. So many questions.

I rapidly put down the glass and flopped on the sofa when I heard Daniel's footsteps. The golden door knob twisted slowly, the dead silence emphasised by the each individual doing of the door uncoiling one by one.

"Hey Trisha. Are you okay?" Daniel's deceiving eyes caressed me as he inspected me for signs of inquisition. He had no clue I knew who he really was.

"Yeah, I'm okay thanks. He's not coming back is he?" I timidly replied, trying not to arouse suspicion.

"No, he won't come back ever again love," Daniel's chapped lips formed a cunning smirk.

"You think I don't know what you've done?" I questioned. Daniel's face turned into an angry frown as he took a pace towards me.

"so romantic," I laughed. "I was talking about the flowers. I saw the order you placed for 100 red roses."
Maybe that wasn't the smartest idea but curiosity got the best of me. Well from now on I'll need to keep in check my curiosity, as the saying says, curiously killed the cat.
