The school day dragged on like any other. Teachers rattled on about subjects that made me want to fall asleep, others passed out unessacary homework, and I the thought of dropping out went through my head at least a few times. (You know, normal school stuff.)

I exit my last class and breath a sigh of relief, glad for the day to be over. I down the hallway, reminding myself of my morning thoughts about joining a club.

"It wouldn't be a bad idea, I guess." I think to myself.

However, my thoughts are once again interrupted by the sound of Sayori's voice, from down the hallway.

"Hey!! (Y/N), over here!!" Sayori basically yells down the crowded hallway, waving her arms in the air to make sure I notice her. Several looks are thrown my way, causing me to turn my head in embarrassment.

I have no idea how Sayori has such confidence and no sense of what the people around her think. I really envy her for it.

(Y/N)! Sayori says as she jogs over to me. "I'm glad I caught you before you left, I wanted to ask you something!"

"Shoot." I tell her.

"Okay, soooooo, have you thought about joining any clubs?" She says to me, a smile spreading across her face.

I swear, this girl can read my mind. Perks of being best friends I guess.

"Yeah, I guess. None of them seem interesting though." I wasn't lying, most of them seemed to political and deadline oriented. Anime Club seemed like the only one worth my time.

"Oh, then you should come check out my club!" Sayori exclaims, pointing down the hallway and jumping excitedly.

"Ehhh, I dunno Sayori..." I tell her. I had heard Sayori talk about it a few times before. From what I could pick up she was the Vice-President and that it was about literature, something I wasn't to fond of.

"Aww, pleeease (Y/N).." Sayori whines, giving me the big puppy dog eyes she always gives me when she wants something from me. "I promise it'll be fun." Sayori tugs at my sleeve, attempting to pull me by my arm down the hall.

I dramatically sigh. "I dunnooo.." looking away and acting disinterested.

"There'll be cupcakes.." Sayori adds, looking intently at me to gauge my reaction.

I'm sold at that. Even though cupcakes are a definite yes from me, I know after all this time being best friends with Sayori that I can never say no to her. Her bright eyes and innocent smile are just to much to resist.

"Well, if there's food then I guess stopping by couldn't hurt." I say to her. "Yay!!!" Sayori loudly exclaims, hugging me and jumping up and down.

"Alright alright, calm down." I tell her, aware of all the looks were probably getting.

"So come on, hehe!" Sayori exclaims, grabbing my hand and pulling me down the hallway.
