He clearly didn't feel like it. Oh no poor thing! He must think I don't like him back! I'm such an idiot!"
Ian took matters into his own hands. "Mari truth or dare."
"Dare."
"I dare you to kiss the most attractive person in the room."
Finally! A change to redeem myself!
Wes was still looking down when I walked up to him. I lifted his chin and pressed my lips against his. He hesitated kissing back but eventually did.
"I like you too," I whispered right before I returned to my spot.
He seemed much happier after that.
