Jihoon woke up to a ding from his phone. He picked it up groggily and tapped the notification.

Text Message from Roa❥:
Happy Birthday Jihoon! Miss you!

Jihoon texted back "thank you! miss you too."

He sat up and got ready for class. Jihoon opened his bedroom door and almost tripped over a small rectangular object in front of his room.

Jihoon knelt down next to the object. It was a gray dog cage.

He looked inside and saw the small puppy that he was looking at the day Soonyoung took him to the mall. The puppy was sound asleep.
