There was an envelope on top of the cage with his name. Jihoon picked it up and opened it:

Today is your birthday, right?
Happy birthday! I hope you have a good one. You deserve it ツ
I remember you liked this puppy, so I went back and bought him for you. I left a bag of dog food and a collar by the front door. If you don't want him, you can just return him.
Also, I made you waffles and cut up some fruit for breakfast.

Ps. You won't have to worry about seeing me ever again. I always leave before you wake up and come back after I think you're asleep. Also, there's only three more weeks until you can move out. So don't worry.
