Epilogue, For Real

Skip forward like a lot of time:
(Pippa has the baby, its a boy, you can call him whatever you want. Lin proposed. They are at their wedding. Sebastian is like 6 I think. Totally lost track of time in this. Netty is 2? The baby is a baby idk. This is really lazy I know, I'm sorry.)

In a few hours, I will be walking down the aisle to marry the man of my dreams. I can't believe it took so long for us to get here, or the journey we took to be together. After years of heartbreak and confusion, we finally realized why we needed to be together. It was when we were together we didn't feel like shit. Together we helped each other through so much.

I stayed the night at Jasmine's so Lin won't see me before the ceremony. Anthony stayed at my apartment with Lin to give us girls our privacy, Renee also stayed the night. It gave us time to really catch up. Since leaving the show and having two kids I haven't had much time to see friends.

Lin's parents agreed to watch the kids for a few days so Lin and I have some time to our selves. Luz made sure Lin and I know how a condom worked before agreeing though. She did the same thing when we told her about the engagement and when we announced we were dating again. It's become more of a joke than a real lesson though. Every single time Lin turns as bright as a tomato.

"Today is the day!!!! Are you ready?" Jasmine yelled as she woke up.

"I've been ready since he asked me. We are already raising a family so it's not like much is changing."

"Yeah, but you will be Mrs.Miranda," Jasmine said in a fancy funny voice. "The relationship just seems so much more elegant when you can say that you are married to them."

"So eating cold pizza in your underwear together while you watch sappy romcoms is elegant?" Renee butted in.

"Well not everyone can be as fancy as you. Going out for fancy meals all the time." Pippa just watched with enthusiasm as the two went back and forth.

Soon it was time to head to the church. As we get closer and closer I fell my heart racing. I'm not nervous about getting married to Lin, I'm way more than ready to spend the rest of my life with him. I can't wait until Lin can properly call me his wife.

We arrive and I'm quickly escorted to a dressing room before anyone can see me that isn't a bridesmaid. In the room the rest them are waiting for me and getting ready. I have Renee, Jasmine, Britain and a few of the ensemble girls for my bridesmaids. Lin has Chris as his best man and Lac, Tommy, Andy, and a few of his free love supreme buddies as his groomsmen. Groff is officiating and of course, Sebastian is the ring bearer and Netty is the flower girl.

The girls help me get into my dress and with my makeup. They don't let me look in the mirror until I am completely ready. Eventually, I'm all done up and I am given permission to turn around. I turn and instantly begin to cry when I see myself. "OMG! Thank you guys."

"You okay Pippa?"

"Yeah, it just feels so much more real now that in in this dress. I'm about to marry the man of my dreams, I'm about to promise the rest of my life to Lin. My Lin." A few more tears slip down my face and the girls quickly wipe them away before it can ruin my makeup.

Eventually, everyone is ready for the ceremony to start. I'm escorted to the doors that lead into the main room of the church. One by one my bridesmaids leaves me to walk down the aisle. Everytime the door opens I get a peek at Lin and my heart flutters. I crack the door open as Sebastian and Netty walk down they both look so adorable dressed up.

Soon it is my turn to walk down the aisle. My dad takes my arm in his and kisses me on the check before the doors open. The second they do everyone stands and the traditional music starts. Immediately I catch Lin's eyes and neither of us looks away, we stay lost in each others gaze.

Johnathan begins the ceremony but all I can hear is my heart beating in my chest. I snap out of my thoughts when he says its time to say our vows. I go first.

"Lin-Manuel, we have been best friends since that first table read I did back before Hamilton blew up. You have always been there to help me through anything and everything. When Steven died I never thought I would find love again but you showed me that I could. Even though we started dating at a very controversial time in our lives I wouldn't change a single thing. Everything we went through happened for a reason because if that didn't happen we might not have ended up here. I don't want to even imagine a world that I'm not with you. Thank you for loving me and our children. I promise to do the same for as long as I live. I promise to never stop loving you no matter what." I pull my hands away from Lin's only to wipe a few tears away. He does the same with his free hand.

"Phillipa, my Pip, I love you so much that there is no way for me to put it into words. Thank you for our beautiful children together and for loving Sebastian as much as you love Netty and (Other child's name). I know we took a rocky road to get here but would say it was worth the trip because now I get to marry you. The most beautiful and talented woman on the earth and you are all mine. I love you and promise to never hurt you and to love you forever."

Jonathan looks at both of us wondering if he should continue. We are both a crying mess now and I'm sure my makeup is ruined.

"Sebastian, do you have the rings?"

"I do!" he squealed running up to Johnathan with them, earning a laugh from everyone.

Johnathan hands a ring to Lin and I and continues with the ceremony.

"Phillipa, do you take Lin-Manuel to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do!"

"Lin, do you take Phillipa to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do!"

"Kiss your bride dude!"

Lin quickly pulls me into him giving me a passionate kiss. Our lips move in sync for a few moments until Johnathan interrupts us.

"Guys you have family watching. And your kids. Keep it PG"

"Oh shut up Groff," Lin says playfully.

This day couldn't have gone any better.
