Bonding with Kovu

The sun rose and I woke up from my sleep. I looked around and saw kiara was still asleep. I love her but she can get annoying and I want to become friendlier with Kovu. I sneak out of the den and over to Kovu who is drinking out the watering hole. He stares at my dad as he walks away.
"Hey Kovu I'm ready for my first lesson." I grin.
"Okay follow me." He reply's.
We both walk over to the hunting grounds and sit down.
"Okay is the trick is to be quiet and sly, one noise and you have lost your meal." Kovu turns around.
"Y/n? Where did you go?" He spins and looks confused.
I jump out at him and land on him.
"You're really goo at that!" He exclaims.
"I know I'm better than kiara anyway." I wink.

Kiara runs over to us.

"Hey can I have a lesson too?" She jumps about.
"Kiara go home we are in the middle of one!" I growl.
"You can't hog him! I want one please." Kiara begs.
"Ugh fine then me and y/n will turn around you sneak up on us." Kovu rolls his eyes and turns around, I do the same.
"3, 2, 1." Kovu and I count down.
Kiara pounces and we duck, she goes flying over us.

"Yous heard me huh?" She looks at the ground embarrassed.
"Uh only a lot! You're still breathing to loud,relax feel the earth between your paws so it doesn't make to much noise." He shows her.
"This is no fun! Can we have fun please?" Kiara pleads.

Kovu spots a small animal.
"Watch this." Kovu gets ready to pounce.

Kovu jumps and lands on the small animal.

"Woah!! Please don't eat me! I never really met you Tyrone, scar! Heck of a guy." Timon shakes.
"Timon!" I moan.
"Ah, y/n for once we're not following yah, this just happens to be the best grub spot in the pridelands! But you don't call for a reservation and eesh.
Timon points to loads of birds eating all the worms and bugs. Pumba is trying to get rid of them by charging into them but it isn't working.

"Hey get out of here!" Timon shouts at a bird by it bites his nose causing it to go red.
"Hey give us a roar will you?" Timon asks.
"What?" Kovu asks.
"Like this." Kiara and I roar very loudly clearing most of the birds away.
Kovu does the same and we all charge at the birds.
As we run I shout
"This is so much fun!" I scream.
"Fun? What kind of training is this?" Kovu asks.
"Training no this is fun!" I laugh.
"Yeah kid fun! Loosen up a bit!" Timon tells.
As we run me see giant rhinos charging at us.
"Run!!" I shout as we all run different ways.

Kovu and I end up in a small cave together.
We both laugh.

"That was so much fun!" I exclaim.
"Yeah it was." Kovu reply's.
"Finally we get away from kiara." I smile.
"Yeah, she's pretty annoying. Cute but annoying." Kovu laughs.
"I think she likes you." I stare at him.
"Nah, she's nice enough but not me type, I prefer someone else." He smirks.
"Oh? Who's that?" I ask while looking into his eyes.
"It's-" Kovu is interrupted.
"Y/n! Where are you!?" Kiara shouts.
"Run before she finds us!" Kovu laughs and we run out the cave.

Couple of hours later it's now dark.

Kovu and I are lying in the ground staring up at the sky.

"See the fluffy tail? I laugh and point to the sky.
"Oh look! That one looks like two lions killing each other for a scrap of meat!" Kovu laughs.
I stare at him a little scared.
"This is so fun I've never done it before." Kovu smiles.
"Me and my father used to do this all the time he said that the great kings from the last are up there." I calmly speak.
"Do you think scars up there?" Kovu sits up and stares into space.

"I gotta go." Kovu sulks.
"Kovu.." I sadly cry.
"And where do you tink you are going?" A strange money emerges from the grass.
"No where.." Kovu reply's sadly.
"Dats wat you tink." The monkey pokes kovus nose.
"Who's that?" Kovu asks.
"Erm, a friend of the family." I reply looking embarrassed.
"You follow old rafiki he knows Di way." The monkey laughs.
"The way to where?" Kovu asks uncertainly.
"You follow you see!" The monkey runs into the jungle, we follow.

"Where's he taking us? Kovu raises an eyebrow.
"To a special place in your heart called, Upendi." The monkey laughs.
