Dear Evan Hansen,

Today is going to be a good day. And here's why: because today . . . today at least you're you. And that's enough.

Sincerely,
Me.

Maria,

You alright? You seem down.

Evan

•∆•

I'm fine.

•∆•

You can tell me.

•∆•

It's just . . . my parents got into a fight again, just this morning, and my siblings just got up and left. Like they've been planning it. My older brother, Dakota, and my older sister, Lara, took their cars along with basically everything they own. They left me with our constantly arguing parents without even a goodbye.

•∆•

I don't know what to say, Maria.

•∆•

It's okay. Thank you for listening.

•∆•

Thank you for trusting me enough to tell me.

•∆•

Yeah. By the way, how did you know?

•∆•

I'm not sure. There's just part of that screamed 'something's wrong', so I had to ask.

•∆•

I see.

•∆•

Yeah.
