Katie and Kyla were at cheer practice
"And he's your boyfriend?! I'm so unlucky!"
"W-what?!! No we're not dating."
"He said that him and you are boyfriend and girlfriend. I'm not joking."
Katie has been quite good friends with Kyla but they barely talk only at their cheer practices and texting.
"What? He's not my boyfriend"
They continued talking then Kyla realized the misunderstanding.

Daniel must've thought Kyla said yes to him but no Kyla was in a situation he can't just tell Daniel right away it would hurt him too much
I'll just play along I'll tell dad and maybe he'll say yes!
