Draco

"Let's go on a date."

The words rung through Draco's  ears as he looked over at Blaise, who was walking beside him to his locker. The two of them were at school and were just about to go to class. He couldn't believe that Blaise asked him that. They had been something for three weeks now, he didn't know what they were or if they even were something. They had sex, admitted they had feelings for each other, and kissed a lot, but after that they didn't really do anything.

Draco started to think it was something with him. He thought Blaise came to his senses and figured out that he wasn't attracted to him anymore, since he had a vagina instead of a dick. He shook his head gently and got out of his trance.

"What?" He finally choked out. "You want to go on a date?"

"I mean—" Blaise's smile fell. "If you want to...just forget it, it's alright."

"Wait, no!" He gasped. "I want to go on a date. But...why did you wait so long?"

"Why did our wait so long?" Blaise asked back. That made Draco's cheeks flush.

"I thought you didn't like me anymore," he murmured. "We haven't done anything for a month. No kisses, no hugs, no sex, no nothing."

Blaise's mouth opened to say something, but then he closed it and sighed as he rubbed his eyes. "I-I didn't know you wanted all that."

"What do you mean?" Draco's eyebrows
furrowed.

"I didn't know that you liked all of that couple stuff. I didn't know," he admitted. "I'm sorry, Draco,"

"It's okay." He whispered softly as he took his hand. "Now, why did you wait to ask me out?"

"I wanted to get enough money saved up." He told him. "I want to take you on a proper first date." He squeezed his hand as they finally approached his locker. "I wanted to take you to a nice dinner and a movie, maybe do some window shopping, go see the new pet store they opened up—"

"Blaise." Draco interrupted as he put his books away. "I don't want that."

"What?" Blaise's eyes widened, his entire body deflating into sadness.
"What do you want, then?"

"Let me finish, please?" He asked as he grabbed a book. "I don't care if our dates are two hundred dollars, twenty dollars, or zero dollars. All that I care about is that you're there with me," he told him. "So yes, I live that we're going to eat and watch a movie and seepuppies, but at the same time, I don't care. Because I know it's going to be with you, and that's all I care about."

"So-so it wasn't something with me?"

"Of course not, silly. A perfect date for me could be us cuddling on your couch with your mom making us food or ordering a pizza." He smiled at him.

Blaise grinned and leaned forward, pressing his lips against Draco's softly. He pulled back slightly and sighed. "I can't wait for date night."

"Me neither," Draco chuckled softly. He kissed Blaise one more time and pulled back to shut his locker.

The two of them headed back off to class, smiled on their faces as they passed by everyone.
