Chapter 15: An old friend. . .

*Ink's POV:

It had been an hour after what had happened. Swap and Dust had already set Fury and Sprinkle to sleep. I smiled as me and Error got up with Dust and Swap, we were gonna go to sleep but I suddenly felt as if I were missing something. Then I realized, PJ wasn't around.

-♤U-Um, Error where's PJ?..♤

-¤..Oh no, I don't see him anywhere..¤
----------
-♤Oh gosh.. where is he?!♤

I started to panic but Error set a hand on my shoulder to calm me down, it worked. I sighed a bit.

-¤Look, you and Swap stay here, me and Dust will look for him.¤

-♤O-Okay..♤

I sat back down with Swap as we watched our lovers leave. Swap hugged me, trying to comfort me. I really hope PJ is okay..

*Error's POV:

Me and Dust headed for Undertale, looking around. We saw PJ with someone, they seemed familiar.. As the person/skeleton looked to us, I noticed their ears and the way they looked.. I realized who it was.

-¤S-Sanow?..¤
-《Ah, Error. Long time no see..》

*Some years ago (Still Error's POV)* :

I was bored in the Anti-Void, Ink had left and told me not to go anywhere.. We were starting to be friends, it was difficult, but we kept trying. I got up and headed over to Undertale, in the Snowdin forest. I saw a purple soul floating and went over to it. As I headed to the soul, I tripped with a branch and fell, bumping into the soul as it fell in the snow. A skeleton cat formed in the snow, they seemed to be a kid. Soon the formed creature turned from snow, into a real skeleton. They slowly got up and looked around, confused. They looked at me as I got up.

-《e-excuse me, sir?.. where am i?》

-¤You're in the underground, kid..¤
----------
-《b-but.. how? me and my family had a car accident.. then I appeared here..》

I checked the files of the AU and found out who the kid was.

-¤Ah, you're Diaria Soul.. you and your family um.. died in the accident.¤
----------
-《what?! why am i here then?!》
----------
-¤I dunno.. but it I guess Ink kept your story like that..¤
----------
-《whoever it is.. tell him to make me get my family back!》
----------
-¤To be honest, if he found out you were even alive, he would kill me.. So, I can't tell him a thing.. But here, have this.¤

I handed the kid a necklace with a purple heart in the center/hanging part. They stared down at the heart and it started to glow, making a blue see-through like cat with a missing left paw appear. The girl teared up and hugged the cat, smiling.

-《thank you..》
-¤No problem.. Now, I have to go.¤
----------
-《okay.. i hope to see you again.》
----------
-¤Same here, but before I leave let's change your name to.. ¤

I stared down at the snow and a name came up.

-¤Sanow! Yeah, that sounds good.. and your cat will be Salur.. Does that sound good?¤
----------
-《mhm.. thank you!》

I smiled as I left the AU and appeared at the Anti-Void, just in time. Ink appeared a few minutes later. After that day some years had passed. During those years, I invited Sanow to hangout with me at the Anti-Void when Ink wasn't around so he wouldn't know and Ink and I became a couple. After those years had passed, I sat in the Anti-Void with Ink. He was checking some AU files.

-♤What the?.. Who are "Sanow" and "Salur"? And what are they doing at Undertale?♤

I pretended not to know them.

-¤That's weird..¤
-♤Ugh, people keep messing with AUs.. I'm tired of this.♤

I felt guilty and sighed, telling the truth. After I had told him what happened, he seemed rather mad about it.

-¤Error, I told you to stay away from AUs!¤

-¤I'm sorry, I was bored!¤
-♤This is why I still doubt of our future..♤

-¤W-Wait.. you doubt our future?!¤
----------
-♤A little, it's not easy trusting a destroyer..♤
----------
-¤I accepted your ways of creating.. and you doubt our future just for my need of destroying?!¤

-♤Error, I'm sorry. It's hard trusting people when I've been left behind most of the time, just because I had a job to do..♤

-¤Ink.. if you don't trust me then.. I don't think this should keep going..¤

I felt myself tear up as I saw tears already falling from Ink's eyes. We both sighed and calmed down, facing the future that we never thought would come.. Little did I know, Ink was pregnant by that time. He would have told me, but by that time he had no idea he was pregnant.

-♤Oh no..♤
-¤Hm?¤
-♤The AU got corrupted because of the new story..♤

-¤C-Can you fix it?¤
-♤Error, something corrupted can't be fixed.♤
----------
-¤Well, you were able to fix me for a while.¤
----------
-♤This is different, Error.. I have to rewrite the story.♤
----------
-¤W-What? Wouldn't that kill some people?¤
----------
-♤No, it will only set the story back to normal.♤

-¤Exactly, and Sanow won't exist.¤

-♤Of course not, her soul will just stay there until it freezes and loses power.♤

Ink was rewriting the story while we talked, without me noticing.

-♤I'm sorry, Error.. it's too late now.♤

Ink had finished rewriting the story by now. I checked the files and noticed he had changed it. I teared up and felt empty.. Not only had I lost a lover, but I lost one of the only people that understood me.. She always saw me as their father, or a big brother. Ever since that day, I thought she was gone forever, so I never went searching for her. . .

Until now, I found her.
