"it's been a good 10 years, everyone. we know we promised to walk the flower path with you, but we're afraid we've reached our destination. it was amazing while it lasted. we will never forget you and all of the memories we've made together. you guys are the very reason why we lived our dreams, and we are eternally grateful. we don't want this to end too. what we would give just to continue to be with you guys for longer, but bangtan isn't just bangtan without jin hyung—" i paused for a moment as another tear escaped from my eye

i felt yoongi hyung pat my shoulder, "it's alright, namjoon-ah. just continue", he said, his voice cracking as his eyes began to well up

"i'm sure you guys will understand, right? but we just can't move forward as 6 petals with no wings. our wings left us. and i guess this is where our wings wanted to take us. and until our very last breath, we love you all." i said crying

armys clapped their hands as i see some of them with looks of sadness and sympathy written all over their faces.

it has been hard. it will always be from now on.

today is the 10th anniversary of bangtan sonyeondan.

today is also the first anniversary of jin hyung's death.
