Thor and Loki didn't know what to do.
They landed on Earth after Asgard was destroyed. The people are left with Heimdall and Valkyrie, the only people Thor can truly trust at the moment.
They had to be wary of Dr. Strange, especially since Loki being on Earth was a terrible idea.
Thor kept Loki in the hotel room, making sure he didn't leave.
