CHAPTER 07
COLDNESS FROM the air lingered as the girl stepped out from the warm plane, gripping onto the coat closer.
the girl watches as mrs.jeon walked elegantly down the steps while she followed behind her.
the girl quickly caught up to the woman who smiled at her once she felt her presence beside her.
"this way, mrs.jeon." the girl couldn't help but to admire the airport as she walked out from the arrival gates.
a smile was displayed on her face as she walked pass every person while her arm was linked with mrs.jeon's.
"would you like me to drop ms.kim down first before going to the company?" the chauffeur asked, politely.
his thick busan accent ringing through the girl's ears. "no, take us home." he nodded before driving off.
the girl was amazed by the view of the city, it's been so long since she been to busan; nothing much changed.
the view of a beautiful white mansion came in the girl's view as she let out a loud gasp.
it was absolutely gorgeous, the white walls with a little tint of brown at the edges made it so elegant.
"welcome home, mrs.jeon." the two got out from the car as the girl stared up at the house, with admiration.
"is jeongguk home?" the girl's head snapped over to mrs.jeon, there was no way it could be the same person.
"young master is in the art room painting, madam." the girl couldn't help but to be nervous.
"take soeun's bag into her room." the girl was once again getting dragged along with mrs.jeon.
"let's go meet my son, shall we?" mrs.jeon smiled, the girl smiled nervously.
the hallways of the mansion was filled with pictures of people, of mrs.jeon's family.
the girl couldn't help but to feel a little sad, all of the pictures that use to be on the wall back at her house were all taken down.
the girl looked down, feeling sad but looked up once she felt them stop walking, they stood in front of a white door.
"come in." a voice said as mrs.jeon knocked on the door softly, the girl stared in shook.
the familiar man stood there, raised an eyebrow looking at her. "darling, I'm home." mrs.jeon hugged someone.
"jeongguk, this is—" the girl gasped, it was him; the boy that had taken over her mind the pass week.
"jeongguk." the girl spoke, breathlessly. she watches as the boy's expression changed.
"soeun." her name left his lips so naturally, it made her heart jumped. "you've met?" mrs.jeon raised an eyebrow.
"yes, we've met at a bookstore back in Seoul." the boy spoke up, a grin broke out on mrs.jeon's face.
"that's great!" she clapped her hands together, "now since you two already know each other, I'll be leaving to a meeting now."
the girl bowed as mrs.jeon walked out from the art room, leaving her and jeongguk also his butler alone.
"so, you paint?" the girl asked, trying to kill the awkward tension in the room. "yes." the boy said.
the girl watches as the boy slowly strokes the paint brush onto the canvas, "that's amazing." the girl said.
a small smile broke out on the boy's face as he tried to hide it with an expressionless face.
"what else can you do?" the girl looked around the room, there were canvas of paintings everywhere;from big ones to smaller ones.
"play the piano." the girl couldn't help but to feel a little envy of the boy, he surely was a natural talented boy.
"we can play it together." a smile was displayed on the girl's face even if the boy couldn't see it.
she watches as the boy nodded slowly, before she saw the grand piano at the far corner of the huge room.
she walked to the piano and looked up at the boy and his butler, "may I?" she asked.
"go ahead." the girl smiled before brushing the keys lightly as she close her eyes letting her feelings take over.
the amount of emotions in the song was overwhelming, it brought tears to the girl's eyes as she thought about her mother.
"play this song whenever you miss me." her mother's voice lingered in her head as she continued to let her feelings out.
"I love you, soeun." the girl slowly let's go of the last key once she finished the song.
"that was beautiful, ms.kim" the girl smiled, wiping her tears away. "thank you, mr...?"
"call me charles." the man bowed to her, "charles." the girl smiled, as she glanced over to the boy.
"I'm impressed." the boy nodded in approval, "thank you." the girl took a seat beside the boy as she watch him finish his painting.
charles on the other hand, swear he saw a tint of love and adoration on the girl's face whenever she glanced at the boy.
also the way the boy smiled at her, was something charles rarely seen ever since the accident.
the two were falling in love, really fast and hard but they were to blind too see it.
