CHAPTER 23

TWO MONTHS has passed by quickly, soeun's father was getting better day by day, at this point he was almost fully healed.

soeun was treated really badly by her step mother and sister, no one could do anything about it beside ms.jung who helped her clean.

the girl smiled widely as she looked at herself through the mirror, her white floral dress fitted perfectly in her petite figure.

she was going out with ms.jung to get some groceries and have some tea with her father.

she skipped out from her bedroom and walked down the stairs, the girl had gotten her old room back which was beside her father's room.

the city of Seoul was packed with people when they got there but then again, when was Seoul never packed with people?

soeun walked into her cafe with ms.jung and smiled as she saw her father sitting by the window.

the father and daughter chatted away in a deep conversation with ms.jung, the familiar bell ranged by the door.

THE young man walked into the cafe with a expensive suit, everyone in the cafe turned to catch a sight at the godlike male.

his leather shoes clicked against the wooden floor, echoing through the sound of people mumbling through the cafe.

he walked towards an empty table right behind a family of three, who was talking happily and unaware of his presence.

jeongguk sat down and waited patiently, while sipping his black coffee in silent and thought about the past two months.

jeongguk achieved a lot of things in that two months, including regaining his eyesight and taking over his father's company.

he regained his eyesight two weeks after soeun left him back in busan, was he happy? yes and no because he wanted to see his love.

a month passed, she didn't come back and jeongguk turned into a complete different person.

he wasn't the same sweet and loving boy anymore, he changed ever since she left and he took over the company.

jeongguk became cold and brutal, almost as if he had lost his heart, like it wasn't beating anymore.

his hand that used to held paintbrushes turned into hands he use to held pens and contracts he gotten.

his art room back home was now he's office, all his art supplies were shoved against the far corner, in the dark.

a familiar sound of giggle made jeongguk's eyes snap open, he looked around the find the voice of the giggle.

maybe he was hallucinating, during the two months, not a single day did he not think about the girl.

she was in his head, when he wake up in the morning and when he goes to bed at night. she was there in his memory.

jeongguk let out a sigh, he came back to Seoul for one thing and it was the contract he was waiting for right now.

he wasn't here to seek for the girl, he was here for work. ever since she left, jeongguk never dated anyone else.

it was girls who threw themselves at him but he never gave them what they wanted. he almost did once, he was desperate, he wanted to forget.

but all he could think about was her, she was in her head, it prevented him from having sex with anyone else.

there were times where jeongguk come home drunk and his mother scolding him for being stupid.

but everything jeongguk done in the past was all out from sadness and the amount of pain he was dealing with because he missed her.

"sorry I'm late, mr.jeon." jeongguk looked up and find the sweating man, he feels his nervousness and he liked it.

jeongguk loved how people fear him, he loved how people were scared. "20 minutes late." jeongguk looked down at his rolex.

"I'm sorry sir, my car—" jeongguk gaze met his nervous filled eyes and watched as the man in front of him gulped.

"are you aware that I hate people being late?" jeongguk was calm but he was really to attack anytime, anywhere.

"yes sir—" this man was lucky, if it wasn't because this contract was so important, he would had snapped his neck.

jeongguk held his hand out and waited, the man was confused for a second before he quickly took out the files.

"thank you sir." the man quickly stood up and rushed out the cafe, jeongguk stood up, wanting to go home and just pass out on his bed.

"jeongguk!" a familiar voice made him look around, the boy rolled his eyes at his friend who was running towards him.

"is that how you treat your hyungs?" jimin nagged the boy, taehyung agreed with jimin as he smiled at his friend.

the three friends walked out the cafe in their fancy suits, while talking about their company and other stuff.

SOEUN, felt her heart stopped. it couldn't be him, he's back at busan. her head turned around, looking for him.

the three guys behind her were talking and walking towards the door, it couldn't be him right?
