Recap: Manik on punishment

After eating the pasta Manik got back to his work he was making pulao, raita and papad (pulao is veg biryani, raita is like dipping various veges like tomatoes, cucumber, onions and chillies chopped and mixed in curd). He was done with the raita and pulao was on the stove and he was going to fry papads  that's when Nandini walked in with her empty bowl. The oil was heated so when Manik put the papad in it it came on his had burning it and he yelped in pain within seconds he found Nandini besides him holding his hand

Nandini: Dekh ke kaam nahi kar sakte tum? (she scolded him took his hand and analysed the burn she went out and brought a toothpaste and started applying it on his burns)

Manik: Ewww what are you doing?

Nandini: Manik toothpaste se burn kam hota hai (and pulled back his hand which he had taken to himself seeing the toothpaste. Nandini was applying the toothpaste very carefully and also blowing his burn and Mr. Malhotra well he was just adoring his lady love but his trance was broken when he felt something wet on his hands and that's when he noticed Nandini was crying

Manik: (freeing his hand and cupping her face firmly) Nandini, why are you crying? (but Nandini just nooded no indicating nothing) You are crying for Nothing then stop crying right now (he said sternly and fresh tears rolled down her eyes) Nandini

Nandini: It's all because of me see how much it's burnt, you are hurt because of me, see (she said indicating his burn and Manik was stun. He then thought, She was crying because she thinks she has hurt him! What will she do if by mistake she hurt him for real! And look at him he being the jerk he is has hurt her made her arms red and he had not even apologized not that he didn't tray to but he has not tried enough. His trance was broken when he again heard Nandini talk while sobbing) I am sorry...

Manik: Shhh.... Don't you talk anymore Miss, I hate it when you talk what I am supposed to. And why on earth are you apologizing?

Nandini: (in between her sobs) They punished you because of me and see you got hurt

Manik: From where do you bring this stupid logics of yours?

Nandini: (still crying) Hu?

Manik: (chalking) You are stupid! (but the tear filled Nandini's eyes now hold anger and unconsciously she pressed Manik's burnt hand and he yelped in pain and this time a bit loudly) Aaaaaaa

Nandini: (guilty and concern) Manik!! I am sorry!! I am sorry (she started creasing Manik's burns who was now in tears)

Aliya: What happened Manik you... Manik! (she exclaimed loudly seeing his hand burnt making all to come to the kitchen) How did this happen?

Cabir: Kya hua hai? (and all entered the kitchen and saw Manik in pain and they dragged him to the hall and tend his burn)

Mukti: Kaise hua?

Manik:  Wo papad..... Aaaa (and he yelped when suddenly he felt something cold on his burns and saw Navya putting ice bag and Nandini holding his hand)

Druv: Dhyan kaha tha tera buddy??

Abhi: Let me call the doctor

Manik: Guys it's a small burn nothing more

Aliya: And who are you to decide that doctor?

Mukti: Exactly let the doctor check (Manik was going to protest but was cut off)

Navya: Muh band karke betho chup chap varna Humse bura koi nahi hoga (he was so touched seeing his friends running around for a mere burn but then he noticed his lady sitting all quite in her guilt)

Manik: Nandini I am telling you stop blaming yourself

Nandini: (annoyed) Of course it's not because of me it's because of you

Manik: (dumbstruck) What?

Nandini: (annoyed) Yes it's all because of you if you won't have manhandle me, they won't have punished you nor you have got yourself burnt

Manik: (confused) Nandini are you pregnant?

Nandini: WHAT! Why?

Manik: Why are you getting so weird mood swings?

Manik: YOU SAY YOU ARE 3 MONTHS PREGNANT AND I AM OUT OF MIND!!!! (and they heard a series of grasp and a loud 'WHAT!!!' from everyone

Manik: OH Shut up!! She said s is 3 months pregnant we didn't even meet back then (and Nandini was blushing all the time snapped right back)

Nandini: Oh God!! It was a sarcastic reply.... I. AM. NOT. PREGNANT!! (and all heaved a sign of relief) and if I was Why the heck you assume to be the father?

Manik: Hello, what do you mean?? I cannot be the father of your child (they were back to their tom and jerry mode and didn't even realize what they are talking)

Nandini: Because I don't want my kids to be rude, arrogant, careless like you

Manik: Did you just called me all that (and Nandini nodded positively) I don't want you as the mother of my kids, what will people say Manik Malhotra's kids are chutkus
