Chapter 2

I sigh as I slam my locker shut for the last time of the day, turning around. Just as I was about to start walking, a voice stopped me in my tracks.

"You still haven't proven to me why I should follow your orders, Little Alpha. Or should I say, Little Mate?" Jimin swaggered up with his hands in his pockets. He had a great, big smirk stretched across his face. I just ignore him and make my way to the front door of the school. "Hey!" He calls, which I ignore. I feel a warm presence behind me, and suddenly I'm pushed against a locker. Boy does he have a temper, huh?

"Don't ignore me." He looked at me, his smirk wiped off his face and instead replaced with a frown. His eyes were slightly darker than normal, and a bit of his fringe covered his right eye. My heart suddenly beats faster. Wait, no! I mentally breathe in and calm myself.

Okay, me. Calm down. He is not the boss of you, you are the boss of him! Get it together! You are the Alpha, not him! I scream at myself, getting the courage to push him away softly. He gets thrown back a metre or two, skidding on the tiled floor. His eyes go darker than I've ever seen before. "You shouldn't have done that-"

"Oh really?" I say blanky. "You are assaulting the Alpha. I could get you in a lot of trouble, little Omega. Don't try to boss me around again. Don't even try to test the words that come out of my mouth, because they will happen if you do try to boss me around." I hiss at him. His narrowed eyes slowly become sad, like a lost puppy waiting for his owner who will never return.

He looks at the ground and mutters a quiet "Yes Alpha." Before dragging his feet as he walked to the front of the school, his bag hanging over one shoulder. Am I a bad mate? Probably... I did use my title against him...

"Wait-uh.. Jimin?" He continued to walk along, stealing a glance or two while he walked away, looking down.

At the next day of school, Jimin completely ignored me, like I ignored him yesterday. Since meeting him, the bond has grown stronger. Putting me in more pain than he was in because of the attention not being given to me or my wolf. I guess that this is his way of getting revenge.

I groan when I sit down with Tessa at the usual table I sit at. Whispers fill the hall as soon as I'm sitting, most likely being about me. As usual. I grab my lunchbox and grab the cookie out of it, biting down.

I feel the chair vibrate as someone sat next to me, and as expected, it was Jungkook and Taehyung as they sat on either side of me. Neither have found their mates, but they have been kept in the vicinity of only certain wolves their entire life.

Jungkook had a knowing smirk on his face while staring right into my eyes, ready to interrogate me. Taehyung just jumped straight to eating, although I knew he knew about Jimin too. "Sooo... (Y/N)~" Jungkook had a singsong tone to his voice. I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, Kookie?" I said, biting into my cookie again, watching as his eyes never strayed from my cookie.
"What happened to you and Jimin~?" Tae whistled behind me and Jungkook wiggled his eyebrows at me, biting his lip in anticipation.

I shook my head and took another bite of my cookie. Tessa stood up from the other side of the table and, growling, ran outside. I stood up from my table and followed her, Jungkook and Tae following suite.

We make it outside to see Tessa writhing on the ground, screaming. I put my hands over my ears as I approach her, and shift. My black wolf with a white right paw lands on the ground, making my clothes rip.

I sit nearby, on watch. Usually, when a female (or male) shifts, the opposite gender (all unmated) flocks to them, ready to try to mark them. It's harder with females because if the Beta's or Gamma's haven't found their mate, they'll use their title strength. Usually the Alpha has to help defend the shifting wolf, because no one else can hold all of them off.

Jungkook and Tae are different. They're both unmated, but they aren't overcome by the need to reproduce so they usually help me. Except this time, it seems Tae is a little agitated. He looks ready to shift!

Tessa continues to scream while girls make a strong circle around her. Boy's shift almost instantly after hearing the commotion. These boy's don't have enough control over their wolves, so the wolves take charge. That's why even an Omega is a threat to the protecting Alpha. Their wolves think based on instinct, so that means no rules.

I see Jimin race from inside and tackle Tae, bringing him to the ground. Jimin and Tae both shift, with Jimin holding onto a very feisty Tae. Tessa eventually starts growing fur, which is the stage which most males get set off. Girls get set off when the bones start to form.

I could hear feral growls surround the circle, and as expected, almost every unmated boy is set off. I could smell the scent of testosterone everywhere, and hear the sound of clothes shifting meaning more fights.

One male broke through the circle, a male I identify as Mark (Got7). He makes a beeline for Tessa, who continues to scream. I jump at Mark and press my paw to his neck, stopping him in his tracks. I growl at him, which his wolf lets Mark have control and he, although stiff, makes it away and into the nearby forest.

A girl who I scent as Tiffany (No group... Just random) jumps over the line of defence. If a wolf is gay or lesbian, they will get set off at the same point as the opposite gender. Tiffany runs, growling like an angry bear, towards the screaming female. I grab her by her paw and drag her down just as Jimin breaks the circle, and everything breaks.

Males circle the  girls in a tidal wave. I back up to the point of standing above Tessa, who is almost completed her transformation. I growl in warning as the defending girls back towards me, still swinging their teeth and claws.

Tessa stops screaming, and instead starts to roar. Her wolf stands up on unsteady paws, and surges towards the sea of males. One male in particular seems set on getting to her, which is Tae. She jumps over the main line and tackles Tae, biting his wolf on the neck. Right where the mate mark is. One by one, males become aware of their surroundings and Tessa drops on top of a calm Tae, exhausted.

I sigh as I lean on the tree. Jimin trots towards me, holding a wolfie grin on his face.

What were you thinking?! I scream at him through the mind-link. Jimin cowers, but I continue. She almost got marked by someone other than Tae! Why did you think breaking the line was a good idea!?

Jimin shrugged his shoulders, as if to say I don't care. I got your attention, didn't I? I ignored you because you ignored me. But when I didn't respond, you didn't try to get me to listen... So I wanted your attention. I knew that Tessa would make it to Beta Taehyung to get your attention.

That was stupid! You could have just talked to me! I continue to scream as everyone shifts around us. You didn't need to put my best friend in danger!

Anyway I hope you liked the chapter! I may change it at some point but I just wrote what I thought was a good idea... And plus I wanted Tae to have a mate, and thought that this was the perfect opportunity when I started writing!
