Granger Family Reunion

The encounter

Hermione's POV
I wake up fresh and strong in my comfortable king size bed. I get out of bed, grabbing my wand and my phone. I go to see if the kids are still asleep or woken up. Scorpius and Lyra were reading on the couch, deciding that I was too sleepy to sneak up on them, I just walked over to them, messing up their hair to annoy them.

"Good morning, kids" I greet them

"Hello, mom." They responded

"Well, I'm glad you're up and what do you kids want for breakfast today?" I ask

Both kids screamed that they wanted waffles and that they were starving. So I made delicious waffles with fresh fruits and whipped cream. When I finished cooking, w went to eat at the diner table. We ate silently, after Scorpius talked about the book he was reading. We were talking and we arrived to the worst subject: my cousins.

"Mom, do we have to spend the day with your horrible relatives?" Scorpius asks

"Yes, I am afraid so." I respond

"Why are they so mean, they don't even have a reason." Lyra says

"They don't need one." I answer

Lyra and Scorpius saw my face when we were speaking about them, so they quickly changed the subject, a subject that I enjoyed more and them too because my cousins were clearly a mood killer.

"Mom, when is dad arriving?" Scorpius asks

"In two days, sweetheart." I respond

"Mom, is it true that there will be a ball in three days?" Lyra says

"Yes and the ball is for your father to reveal my identity as his wife, it will be revealed to my family and to the world." I answer

"Wicked." They both say

"I agree." I say

We continued talking about random subjects until we were finished to eat. the kids and I, all retired to go prepare ourselves in the bathroom. I was choosing my clothes when my phone rang. I took my phone and answered. It was Blaise Zabini, Draco's and I business partner and best friend. When I came back to do to my 7th year, I grew close to Blaise and Draco. We remained best friends and he was now also our business partner.

"Hello, dear Blaise." I say

"Hello, Herms." He answered

"What is it?" I ask

"I need to see you, come down in the lobby when you're ready, I'll be at the bar. Business talk." He answers

" Ok, I'm coming in maximum 15 minutes." I say

"Bye, see you." He says

"Bye, too." I answered

I did a quick face wash an I put on light natural makeup. For my clothes, I chose a figure hugging white shirt with black skinny jeans that highlighted my curves. I finished the outfit with my Dolce&Gabana belt, ruby earrings and open heels with a strap around my ankle. I came out of the bathroom and I told the kids that I had a business meeting with Blaise, they were going to be there and come with me, reading on a couch. I took the elevator with the kids and I spotted Blaise and I walk over to him, greeting worker on my way.

"Uncle Blaise!" The kids say

"Hello Munchkins, go sit on the couch. I have business talk to do with your mom" He says and the kids go sit on the couch

"You summoned me, Blaise" I say and he laughs

" Seems like it." He responds

"Now, let's get down to business." I say
