I opened my eyes slightly and squinted against the bright sunlight coming in through my window. I pushed the covers off me, put on a pair of shorts, a t-shirt and some flip flops and headed outside to soak up some sun, taking my phone and my breakfast with me. I sat down on my favourite hanging chair and swung it slightly. I balanced my cereal on my leg and started writing my story. I decided it would be about a girl who had an internet friend, sort of like me. After writing a chapter I got a message. I clicked on the notification and read the message.

He had dogs? I have to admit, I was jealous. I'd wanted a dog my whole life but my mom always said that our house wasn't big enough. It was big enough where we used to live.
