🎵Chasing Cars- Sleeping at Last🎵
Neither of us knew how to navigate these drastically unfamiliar waters. We knew we loved each other, would do anything for the other, but the rest was undetermined.
We avoided walking around Hilltop, no-one understood. To them, he was just the enemy, an amalgamation of the pain and suffering he'd inflicted. The fact that Rick had shared the origin of my injury surely didn't help matters.
Could I really blame him for that?
Carson was kind enough to lend us his room, unwilling to go to my old room. The once beautiful moment I had shared with Daryl invaded my thoughts like an unwanted guest. I couldn't conceive why he did that, it was so out of left field I couldn't process it.
"Come back to me princess." My Negan's voice reverberated in my ear, sending a delicious shiver through my veins.
I was still standing in the doorway, staring into space. His arms wrapped around my belly, "they're mine you know? I just know they're mine."
Placing my hands over his, I leaned back into him, "I'm yours. I'm your wife, and this is our family."
This felt too familiar, guilt that I had promised this to another. My demons clawed at my throat, wishing I had known. I couldn't cry again, I swallowed while my body had other plans.
Negan spun me towards him, my distress sprouting his own. "Rackel? What's wrong?"
"You were dead..." I swallowed, needing to explain.
"I would've never, I would've never if I knew." I threw my head into his chest, wetting his grey shirt with the onslaught of tears.
He cradled the back of my head, voice gentle, somber, "I know. It was just so hard, the things that happened." His large hands engulfed the sides of my face, tilting my head, "I am sorry for hurting you baby. There is nothing that you can ever do to justify what I did."
He pulled out a ring out of his jacket pocket, a beautiful vintage simple band. "I know it's a bit late, but I hope you'll let me spend the rest of my life trying to make up for it."
Hands shaking, I nodded before transforming into a giggling teary mess. "God, I love you!" The ring found it's rightful place on my finger. It immediately became an extension of myself, like it had always been there. As I ogled my hand, perched on his shoulder a question popped into my head, "where did you get this? It's perfect!"
"It was Lucille's."
I gasped, "Are you sure you want to give this to me?"
The kiss he gave me eluded to more, yearning kindled our undying passion. "Before she passed, she gave me this ring and said to me: 'this isn't the end for you! Find someone who is everything to you, that holds everything for you.' And I've found her." He gulped, hardly holding onto his steely exterior. "I've done some pretty shit things to people I love. But, I'll always be there for you princess."
I clasped his cheek, "we're in this together Negan! Whatever happens, wherever we end up, we'll be there together."
Hands made their way under clothes, shirts and pants discarded. Our bodies like magnets, connecting at every conceivable point.
His gentle touch drove me up the wall, "I've been dreaming of this for months." Running hands under my bra straps before flicking them off, "finding you again." Eager tongues entwined together, "engulf myself in you, making love to you until the sun comes up." sucking on the skin behind my ear, making me swoon.
Sturdy arms held me, guiding me to the bed. As underwear was thrown asunder, my husband held me, looking at me the way that all women dreamt about being looked at. Our eyes connected, his hands stroking our unborn children, "I'm going to be a Dad again!" Tears were shared for the beauty of this epiphany, the new chapter ahead of us filling us with overwhelming joy.
Pushing him on the bed I giggled, quickly following him, "I'm so lucky I get to do this with you. You're my miracle Negan."
Negan nipped at my neck, running his hand over my core, "Negan Christ, your fucking Savior."
"Hallelujah!" I moaned.
As he entered me, I felt all the love and passion being parted had deprived us of come to life. Our lips took back all the kisses we'd missed, "I love you so much Negan!"
"My princess, my beautiful princess." He chanted, eyes ablaze with his need, neither of us in any rush. Just enjoying being knotted together, connecting permanently.
He cradled my back, turning us over, hovering over me like my guardian angel. "I loved you from the moment I laid eyes on you Rackel." He gently thrust into me, making me groan at the fullness, "I've loved every fucking torturous moment, every step with you has been everything, absolutely everything."
The heartfelt confession I'd been longing for, along with the feverishness of our intimacy was tipping me over. I felt like a pot about to boil over, "oh God baby, Negan I, I'm-"
His thrusts curled into my g-spot, yet he always rested on his forearms, careful of my precious cargo. "I'm with you princess! I'm-"
Our climax was interstellar, transporting us to another dimension. Toes curled, cries of passion filled our universe.
So much was up in the air, but one thing was for certain, I knew what I was fighting for now.
My life with Negan.
