I'm a mess.

They know I drink
To get drunk
Because it numbs
The pain I constantly
Feel while I'm sober.

I get drunk
As all fuck
And kiss strangers
And dance with
Anyone with
No fucking care in
The world.

I might cry about you
On the floor of a
Dirty bathroom
But I sure as hell
Won't fucking ask you
To come back.
Because I'm
Doing better
Without you.

I'm free to do
Whatever I want
And get with whoever
I want
Without you judging me.

The best part
Of it all is
That when I wake up
The next afternoon
Hungover and pissed,
I get drunk again
So I don't have to deal with
My emotions.

They're easier to deal
With when
I'm out of it.
